I claim this one.
That actually looks like a real game. Better have that checked. If it isn't, though, I can see all kinds of NSFW possibilities for that. No worries though, NSFW content allowed (if you put in a disclaimer on your page). Well, it was from a contest for fake video game covers. There seems to be a vaporware project called Hell Tycoon, but it postdates this cover.

Mikademus, that was two days ago. I had no intentions to start anything like that, and I don't think I did. First there was (what I thought was) a claim that Java wasn't fast enough. I felt it was relevant to point out that it is. When doing so I said some stupid things, which st33d pointed out. I then wanted to clarify what I meant. In both cases I wanted prevent bad information from spreading (in the first case no-one was wrong, in the second case I was wrong). Edit:Ina Vegt: You have accidentally misquoted me. It was drChengele who said that Yes, I did. Sorry.

Oh and personally I don't use garbage collection at all in C++, and I don't know how it can get any more efficient than manually deleting your pointers.
Well, then you run into the problem of manually keeping track of those pointers. Which in any sizable project is -quite- difficult. You also need to remember to free the memory those pointers point to, etcetera. That's asking for memory leaks there.

!?!?! Presumably there will be magic carpets and forbidden gems, too? Aladdin was an inspiration, yes. Though not particularly the disney version. Magic Carpets will be enemies. Forbidden Gems will probably exist too (thinking some sort of trap-system, with not all gems being actually forbidden.)

What I don't like about it is that it don't seem to be language-agnostic. If language parsing/definition is defined by some kind of plugin, then excellent, we can have it later for, say, C++ right? If however the buble behaviour is dependant on the java language, then FAIL! It seems to be an Eclipse plugin or something like that, since Eclipse is mostly used by Java devs, it makes sense to use Java in the demo. Still, Eclipse supports many more languages than just Java, so I wouldn't be surprised if it shipped with multilanguage support out of the box.

Alec had credited me for the 3D model of the ship I drew, but the model was made by Sos. So, I just let him know that it was a collaborative effort. I'll make that more clear on my first post. I'm not sure what the license would be. Creative commons perhaps? I think the idea is that the art made in Assemblee Part I is to be used in Part II and then credited. However, I was happy to see that Alec used some for his Unity tutorial. I love tutorials and sharing knowledge. The 'Resources' thread might be a good place to ask everyone what the general license is on Part I assets. http://forums.tigsource.com/index.php?topic=9599.0What version of CC, though? I'm thinking of placing my part II game on gamejolt.com, which does not qualify for non-commercial, but it's not making huge profits either.
