frigid outskirts might actually be the worst area in souls history
There's no 'might' about it. I've played through every part Dark Souls 1 and 2 multiple times. This area is the only one I have officially said 'fuck it' to and given up on it. Nigh unplayable

Player / Games / Re: If You Had The Power To Bring Back A SNES Game...

This came up in another thread. EVO originated as a turn based RPG for an old PC system (gameplay linked above). The graphics and music are mostly the same, but the mechanics of the game were way different.
The SNES version that we know in North American was a sequel based on that game.
This is like when I found out they ported Space Station Silicon Valley to the GBC...

You didn't really give a firm description of what to do here... recoloring doesn't seem limited to swapping each color for another color, so I figured 'why not change all of it?' http://i.imgur.com/S67RA.pngI ended up with some sort of frogman zombie.e: Hehe... I shrunk it down to recolor it, but apparently I didn't do it enough... mine is double resolution. It probably doesn't count.

I love the timelapse videos of the art process, it's always good to examine how other people do that kind of stuff. The video remind me, as well as the game itself, of Castle Crashers. Perhaps it's just the perspective + setting and character, but they also seem shockingly similar to the timelapse drawing videos The Behemoth came out with quite a while ago, which are also a good watch if you're interested.
