Well obviously the fancy pants series. Also armed with wings 2, while broken and glitchy, is still fun to play and gorgeous to look at. The sleeper is dolphin Olympics 2, which while it sound boring and seems that way at first, is actually amazingly addictive.

The biggest challenge would be keeping it as a platformer and not as a more shmupish game. You could go with a smw style flight where it is challenging but hardly limited at all aside from the startup. You could also have incentives to stay on the ground as others have suggested, though that might be a bit of a pain when you just want to fly but have to keep checking the ground for powerups or whatever. I think the best would be to have the flight heavily affected by gravity and somewhat challenging to control, but still really smooth and fun.

This looking awesome. Not sure why people haven't been praising it as much as it should be?
Though there are a few issues with the ground, just seem random with no thought at all about design. Tsssk tsssk Dude!
Would you mind going into more detail? I mean ground is rarely all that uniform.

In my head I want to give a Super Joe-style response but I know this is your opinion and you're entitled to it.  HOWEVER, I would consider renaming this thread to "Why I don't like SFIV".
Because as we all know, when people are stating their opinions, unless they state otherwise, they believe their opinions to be concrete facts.

OF COURSE.

Bones, that looks awesome except the hood and the spraypaint.
Anyway,

IMO the original bionicles and the motorized sets were pretty awesome. My friends and I had hours of fun with the record and play set.

So much nostalgia Coffee If they ever made a lego racer 3 for wii or something, that would be rad. Also, lego island, rock raiders, and alpha team all had very fun and intuitive games. Lego island was a series of adventure games with platforming elements, rock raiders was a strategy game about mining into the core of some planet, and alpha team was a puzzle game where you had to use each member's specific abilities to beat each level.

Hey, I love shiny, I just think you overdid it. It's very distracting.

Metroid fusion. When I first played it I was blown away by how as soon as a tense moment occurred the music was appropriately tense. Basically, unlike most games where music is dependent on the area, it was dependent on the situation. Also everything in Chzo Mythos.

That sounds so awesome and the sprite looks fantastic. I want to try that game now  Gentleman

I agree with shig. Also, try to thrown cabadath's main theme (the one that plays through the final scene in Trilby's notes)into the song because a) that's my favourite song in the games and b) it would add some variety.

You kind of overdid the shiny shading thing but otherwise its beautiful.

Like pokemon trainer? That'd be cool.

I would say go with whoever the main character is and Flandre. I say this because, at least going by the Chzo Mythos series, we're picking the main character and the awesome fan favourite character (Trilby and Cabadath). That and Touhou probably probably deserves 2 characters as it is well known even outside the Indie crowd.

The only thing is, when I played melee, I had no idea what the full roster was, I was just happy to play a fun game. Then when all of a sudden I get this challenger approaching thing, I got so excited. Then when I got to play as this shiny new character, that right there gave me another hour of fun on top of the hours and hours I already had. So long as they don't know who's there, nobody will have any qualms.
