Developer / Business / Digital distribution and publishers

This is kind of in similar manner as the publisher deal percentages thread, but just about digital distribution.
What I'd like to know - like in the publisher deal percentages thread - is that what kind of percentages have you got for yourselves and what seems to be kind of a standard percentage. Also would be interesting to know, do you ever see any royalties in this kind of scenario? Apparently in retail, you don't really get any royalties, but I'd guess there's at least a little difference in digital. Or is the up front money still the better option?
Then there's the big question of actual need for a publisher in digital distribution. If you've released a game with a publisher, did you feel that having the publisher helped a lot or was it the opposite? Or something in between? Of course this depends on the publisher, but hearing experiences is what I'm after.

Really fun to play! Congratz for the win! Can't wait to see what you come up with it if you develop it further.

I haven't read that many comics recently. Last buys were Batman: The Long Halloween and Arkham Asylum: A Serious House On Serious Earth. I think Long Halloween is my favorite Batman story so far. I also tried this little graphic novel called The Executor, but it wasn't really anything special. I'm currently in the middle of Y: The Last Man (5th volume) and Transmetropolitan (6th volume). So far they are awesome. I especially liked Y: The Last Man's 5th volume. Hopefully I can continue it next month or so. There are so many comics I'd like to read as I've only been into comics for about few years now.

I'm not really that huge Daft Punk fan, but what I've heard of the soundtrack so far, it sounds really cool. So yeah, no matter how good or bad the movie is hopefully there will be one kick ass soundtrack.

I'm really liking the trailers of this. Hopefully it will be as good. Definitely gonna go see it. Coincidentally I just completed Tron 2.0 (awesome game, by the way) yesterday and then hit the Internet and found the new trailer.

I kind of randomly started listening to Röyksopp for the first time (at least consciously it was the first time) last weekend and they have pretty much been the only thing I've been listening to now.

Also, that was in volume one, whereas this is trying to condense the first 5 books into one film. They're not gonna pace it as methodically as the books.
Aren't they putting all six books into one film? Though I don't know how much the movie will actually differ from the last book, but I guess you could say all six since Gideon is already in the trailers. I was kinda surprised that they already showed Gideon. But then again, he's never really identified by name so for average watcher it goes unnoticed. Anyway, really excited about this movie.

The test crashed after this part: size: 1500 creating blank image preparing shader starting shader completed succesfully
But the actual Flash worked now. On school computer that is. In the morning at home it said something about being site locked. I'll check again when I get home.
Edit: sitelocked was caused by bFilter. School computer gave solid 50 fps when there was like 6-10 enemies. After that it started to go down. This home computer gives about 20 fps without enemies. Processor: AMD Athlon 64 3000+ 1.81 GHz RAM: 2 GB Display adapter: GeForce 8800 GTS 320 MB Windows XP SP3 Chrome 4.1.249.1045 unknown (42898)
That Flash test goes through without problems.
