Hi, short and simple, I'm looking for someone to do a bit of animating for me and possibly some pixel art.  I don't have any real experience in making games and this will be my first 'proper' attempt since I don't know any programming languages and suchforth.  I'm using Construct and the game itself will be in the same vein as Shotgun Ninja by Cactus.  Give me a PM if you're interested at all!

Bastille Day - Rush.  I love 'The Caress of Steel'!

I'm a big fan of Clannad.  It's a harem that focuses on the stories of the characters rather than ecchiness (no!?).  It's a sweet tale that I'd reccomend to anyone who doesn't have a severe 'feeling block' xD.  Another that I started to watch before it was taken from my streaming site was Tora Dora which was freaking hilarious.

I'm a big fan of Miyazaki's work, so much so that I did my A2 Film Studies coursework on his work and his usage of recurrent themes that really opened my eyes to how much of an auteur he is.  10 points of awesome to him.  Spirited Away remains one of my favourite films of all time...

Scouts are incredibly fun to play.  You get to feel what it's like to be the equivalent of an annoying gnat...with a shotgun.

I really enjoyed Phantom Hourglass.  Unlike many people, I'm a big fan of the cartoony gfx introduced in the windwaker and am glad to see they're staying strong.  It is more of s DS thing afterall...although I'm admittedly skeptical about the whole train thing :/  I'll no doubt enjoy it, however, the formula hasn't failed for this long, why should it now?

Pretty much pre-80's Rush, up to the Permanent Waves album...does synth rub anyone else the wrong way?  There's something about it that's just so...cheesy.  Been staying well within Prog rock/metal recently.

YEAH, OPETH!

Scribblenauts sounds very intriguing!

I can't afford to be looking forward to any commercial game Sad

I just have no idea what you meant by that, learning to python.
Oh right.  Python is a programming language!

Once, after clearing that factory full of raiders, I took all their bodies and stacked them on one place. Then I stuffed the pile with around 50 land mines and threw a grenade at it.
That is pure brilliance!

NECRO!

I'm reading a Star Wars novel atm called 'Darth Bane: Path of Destruction' which is really good at the moment.  It's written by Drew Karpyshyn who I think wrote for the KOTOR games but who I know wrote Mass Effect.  I've had it from the library since last year xD  I must've renewed it over 10 times now...I take MASSIVE breaks in between chapters.

Fallout New Vegas was announced moments ago during a Bethesda press conference in London.
I saw a comedy post coming on: 'Tom Clancy's Fallout: Vegas 3!'  Kinda dissapointed.  Glad to hear that Obsidian are in.  I wonder if they'll stick with the new First-Person format or go back to the roots...opinions?  I can't see Bethesda doing anything that isn't First-Person so I'm gonna have to go with that for now.  On another note: I am looking forward to Dragon Age: Origins.

What's learning to python when it's home?
...wut?

Do you ever find you boot it up, look at the brown destroyed world, and think 'man, this is depressing'?
I hear that!  But then I get into some side-quest story and forget about it.  I find I'm reluctant to start playing it, but when I do I don't put it down for a very long time.  Oblivion is a lot happier in comparison since it actually has living flora...that being said; game.co.uk currently have GOTY Oblivion for £17.99...you have no idea how hard I'm fighting the urge to buy it!  Shocked

They can make it, but there's no guarantee anyone will play it!  Muahaha!

On Tomb Raider 2 for the PC if you play an All Saints track in the background while making Lara 'dance' (jump around as if the floor was made of pointy moustaches and broken monocles) in her bedroom all of her clothes would dissapear! :O  How did such smut make it to the playground?  Filthy!

I currently have an illness where I buy games even though I know that I have a mountain to complete already; my next purchase is going to be Lost Odyssey.  So as a result, I'm playing quite a few!

Fallout 3
Excellent game, truly huge (I couldn't expect any less from Bethesda).  I've just hit 43 hours of playtime and still have a lot to go...I've got to the point where I just want to get it out of the way so I can concentrate on another game but can't bring myself to rush through it.

Ninja Gaiden II
Kicking...my...ass...I'm only on the third boss ON THE EASIEST PLAY SETTING and I just can't do it :/

Devil May Cry 4
This game has styyyyyle!  Why am I not playing it right now?...oh yeah, Fallout 3...

Perfect Dark Zero
I like how much this feels like the original.

N+
Smooth.

Bionic Commando: Rearmed
I never played the original but if this is anything to go by, I'm sure I'd have loved it!  Playing on Normal atm, when I unlock super-hard It's the real ass-kicking time.

That's it for what I'm playing atm, I still have a pile of games waiting to be played however that include:
Frontlines: Fuel of War
Enchanted Arms
Call of Duty 4

I have to stop attempting to learn to python (again) and knuckle down and do some serious gaming!

Today I created an idea in my brainspace for an Interactive Fiction game.  Now to learn Inform7...

Some quality entrants here, I had trouble narrowing it down to 6!

Future Cop LAPD (PSX, PC)

also a very cool 3rd person game...you play a mech like in robocop 1 which can transform into some sort of a hovercraft. (btw the multiplayer mode is epic)

Ah, I remember this one fondly.  I never owned the game but had a demo of it on a free Playstation magazine demo disc.  Me and my friend would play it over and over.  I really need to dig this one up!

Greetings, true believers!

My name is Tim and like my fellow countryman MysticSi, I also come from Wales in the UK!
I'm a long-time reader of TIGSource but have only just decided to sign up to the forums, clearly!  I'm an avid gamer and hope to graduate college (albeit two years late D:) to go to Derby University to study games programming.  I'm also currently learning my way through Inform7 and hope to make an entrant in the next competition that comes this way.

Hello!
