i'd really like to work on sound design for a freeware indie game. it doesn't have to be anything too fancy, so if you need music and sound effects for your game, feel free to message me. and if i find your idea inspiring, we have a deal!

i don't really have a porfolio of my solo stuff, since i've been playing in bands most of my life. i've composed the ending theme for bytejacker (the indie game review show), and a soundtrack for an older indie game.

i can deliver files in mp3 format, and genre-wise i enjoy making pretty much all sorts of electronic stuff, from dancey tunes to atmospheric stuff.

Wait a sec, sound effects?  Cock sound effects?

included in the zip are:
1) intro/menu background music - this one should be played only once when the main menu shows up
2) game background music - this one should loop during the game. the begining of the theme might get annoying after a while, so i might send you the updated version later today. if you like it at all, that is.

ok, just to let you know im finishing the theme tonight. will post it here tomorrow morning. its 11:55 pm here now.

hey i have a wip for the game theme, but i also have an exam tomorrow and need to study. so i will probably finish the theme tomorrow night. it's a hard thing to do because in games like this, with only one level and all, the game theme song repeats itself all the time and if it's not properly made, it quckly becomes annoying to listen to. so i'm trying to make this one work well. can send you the wip tonight if you want.

I'm not really sure about doing scoring by last limb used, as part of the fun, IMO, is being able to pull off insane goals with no penalties.

oh but those arent penalties, theyre more like little bonuses
i mean this way it would be even more fun, trying to score a goal with a bloody ragdoll player's head
and its always more fun when a game demands some skill from the players

oh well try playing and imagine that its better to score with your head or legs/feet and you might agree with me :]

I *could* call the game finished now, but IMO it's a little too basic.

heres a few ideas:

1) dont count all goals the same. if a player scores with:
his foot - 2 pts
head - 3 pts
body or hand - 1 pt
if he scores in his own net - 2 pts for the other player

2) speaking of nets - maybe add some nets to the goal. maybe one net could be blue and the other one red

3) joystick support?

4) 2 vs 2 mode with a bigger pitch of course

5) if you need menu music i will gladly make you some
