I like how i was exploring part of an area and stumbled into a boss battle and it was a Good Time. Like, I can't really compare the game to the other games but it feels Good.

Tree boss was definitely fun once i figured out what was going on.

Towards the "end" of the Undead Settlement make sure to explore properly, you'll find a neat little side area and can get two good rings from it. Also the Rest/Sleep action.

im fairly Baby at the dark souls series but i just beat the second boss {high wall bosss I guess??} in nothing but a loincloth, steel helmet, and two swords.

I tried heavy armor once but i couldn't stand the delayed roll, so im dedicated to being nude now I guess.

also yeah FPS troubles if i try to play in anything not set to low/off with lowered resolution lol

24  Player / Games / Re: Splatoon on: June 08, 2015, 10:06:34 AM
Yeah you can change gyroscope aiming to off if you want, or change the aiming sensitivity! The aim cursor will also change graphic if you can hit something so that's something to keep in mind.

Also the final boss in Story Mode is FANTASTIC I'd recommend doing single player just for that.
[Also collecting all the scrolls unlocks gear that you can use in multiplayer]
25  Player / Games / Re: Splatoon on: June 04, 2015, 09:06:21 AM
The single player mode is pretty straight forward but also kinda fun and I hope they bring some of the mechanics in it to multiplayer maps.

I don't know how often they'll be adding new content but they've already unlocked Ranked battles and added a new stage and gun. I kinda wish they had more maps on rotation or rotated maps more often but I think that'll change once they add more stages.

Ok so the game has a progression system which kinda sucks but also as far as weapons go, people STILL use the first gun at level 15+ so I wouldn't worry too much about having to be stuck with a "bad" weapon at low levels. It does suck if you don't like X guns style tho and wanna try new things but it also doesn't take too long to level up so...

Clothing stats are also kinda EH. Idk how it works exactly but clothing has a primary stat and X secondary stats. The "best" clothes have 3 secondary stats but can take quite a while to get those stats unlocked [as clothing is leveled up]. Primary stat can also be a sort of modifier, example: my favorite one is the one that lets you be a squid in ink w/o being visible. I haven't seen that as a secondary stat so idk.

It's a lot of fun though and if you have a WiiU I recommend picking it up? There's quite a bit of depth to how YOU want to play.

There's probably optimal team set-ups but idk them yet and it depends on what mode you're playing.

Yeah that camouflage is pretty good as it is; didnt even realize it was there the first time looking at the gif.

Also those moves! So slick. It looks like it feels really goooooood.
28  Player / Games / Re: Etrian Odyssey V on: November 24, 2014, 06:00:45 PM
psssh nah we still got EOU2 and probably an EOU3. EOU1 was actually good and further improved the stuff introduced in EO4 so I'm pretty excited about EO5! I'm curious what classes and stuff we'll be getting!

Also worth noting they're doing a Mystery Dungeon Etrian Odyssey too, which is set to release 3/15 next year in Japan?

Lots of neat stuff everyone! Cannot repeat enough how much I love seeing gifs in action; they're like mini videos :']

I also worked on the sunset bg a bit so it's a tad bit less blinding now :0

started work on WORLD 2 of my game; I might need to mess with the background and colors a bit before it looks just right tho, any suggestions?

This looks amazing so far! Digging the music and the UI and about everything in general!

Best of luck to you for this project!

38  Player / Games / Re: Shovel Knight Is Out on: June 29, 2014, 12:43:43 AM
I beat it in one sitting - Didn't get 100% of the collectibles but got most of them - it took about 4.5 hours. It's definitely good though! There's also NG+ so yeah!

I'd definitely recommend it.

Lots of good and interesting level designs, it's a blast to go through.

Everyone's stuff is so nice! It's really great to see other people's games in action. Love gifs for this reason.

Here's a WIP shot of the first bit of World 2 for my game, it's pretty different from what I had in mind originally...
