Theres a logo thing that says screenshots and another that says pre-visualization. So I guess some of them are real time?

FWIW, I liked the camera, when I gave it a try. Don't really have much constructive to say about it though... Nice job! Gonna be interesting to see more!
Compliments are totally constructive. They make me feel all happy inside so I want to keep working!

The camera is centered on the halfway point between the mouse and the character, so its actually based around the character just as much as the mouse. I did it like this to make it easier to see where you're aiming and also never let the player leave the screen.

I love the graphic design, but to be honest I really didn't get what I was supposed to be doing. I shot and picked up a lot of stuff, but that seemed to be all I could do. I would say that there needs to be some sort of element of danger added to the game.
Yeah - sorry, it does need some work and some better explanation. But yeah, what AndrewFM said. You hold right click once you collect some "light" to send it to the sun in the middle, which is how you gain points. There is a penalty for being hit - you drop all of the light you currently have - but it could use a better "element of danger" as you put it. I originally was planning to make it with lives instead of a time limit, but a time limit was much quicker and fit a little better with the amount of content I actually put in. But that was just so I could have something playable in by the Weekend Jam deadline; theres nothing stopping me from finishing it. Right now I'm planning more enemies, powerups, and probably a lives system instead of a time limit. And obviously I'm open to suggestions! (Hence this being in the feedback section. ) So I'll update this when I get more done.

(I noticed in the picture theres a "Funcom Games" folder and I couldn't remember what that was, so I looked and found Anarchy Online. I haven't played that yet.)

Hadn't even heard of this game before, but its crazy fun. xD
Only payed the minimum for a PC copy, might pay some more for a Mac copy, though. Great game, reminiscent of Bubble Bobble, which is awesome. Can't wait to have a friend over to play with.

I like the theme! Started working on my entry, for whatever reason I try doing things I've never done before whenever I have a time limit. This time its all that randomly generated stuff. Hopefully I can get it working right. Heres a screeny: The plans to make it so you grab random objects and hurl them out the window into a truck while avoiding guards. (I've been working on their AI for a while now; they'll follow you up and down there stairs. Hopefully it'll be pretty challenging. xP) Anyways, looking forward to seeing other entries! Awesome theme and awesome poster! :D

Sorry for the lack of updates. .-. Haven't worked on this as much as I'd like to, but I managed to add 1 small feature, at least. Moving platforms! So original! :D Anyways, its a platform. And it moves. Also, when its hit by lightning, a shockwave is sent through it which the player must jump over. Which means at points, you'll be dodging lightning and making sure you're ride doesn't kill you.

Robo Blast is great, yes. Good multiplayer, too. Should give it a shot if game nights ever come back. (Hint. Bring game nights back.) Also. Fans are recreating Sonic 2 in HD, and are making progress, albeit at a laughably slow pace. You can help if you desire. They certainly seem to need it. Problems due to their being hilariously precise fanboys; on the other hand, hilariously precise fanboys tend to make accurate things. Looked through the forum and found this screenshot. Personally, I think it looks awful. I much prefer the original. That said, I'm not sure why I think this. Just don't like the updated HD graphics.

I think I had it like that when I first started development, but the contrast between the bright red and the dark background was sort of an eyestrain which is why the colors are what they are now. I'll try it anyways just to see, though.

Alright, you may have a point there. Do you think a change it shades would work or should I just go ahead and do a complete color change? (I'm trying to avoid color themes that have already been done to death, hence the current theme, so I guess I want to avoid things like black and white, gameboy colors, etc..., although I might give them a shot anyway just to see how it turns out.)
