1  Jobs / Offering Paid Work / Translator looking for job (EN & ES)/Traductor buscando empleo (EN & ES) on: June 24, 2013, 03:09:43 PM
Hello. I am a translator lookin' for some work, ya dig?  Noir

I have some experience, but I'm still an amateur so my prices won't be too high. I only accept PayPal payments. We can discuss pricing and find something that works for both of us. I am from Venezuela, so my native language is Latin-American Spanish, but I can make my translation as neutral as possible.  Cool

I can translate from English to Spanish or viceversa. It doesn't matter to me.  Ninja

I have no samples to show at the moment, sadly, other than this very post...

I don't frequent these forums, so use this contact information:

Hola. Soy un traductor buscando empleo, capichi?  Noir

Tengo algo de experiencia, pero aun soy un novato así que mis precios no serán muy elevados. Solo acepto pagos por PayPal. Podemos discutir los precios y llegar a un acuerdo que nos beneficie a ambos. Soy venezolano, asi que mi idioma nativo es Español Latinoamericano, pero puedo hacer la traducción lo más neutral posible.  Cool

Puedo traducir de Inglés a Español o viceversa. Me da igual.  Ninja

Tristemente no tengo muestras por ahora, además de este mensaje...

No frecuento este foro, asi que aqui dejo mi información de contacto:

Hey there! I don't actually need anything translated; I just wanted to say thanks for doing something like this. Translation is tough work and I'm sure a lot of people can benefit from your help. Beer!

Thanks a lot man.

I'm still waiting for anyone that wants my services.  Cool

What the title says.

I'm offering my free English <--> Spanish (English to Spanish and vice-versa if need be) services.

I've been exposed to the english language ever since I was like 5, thanks to video-games and Spanish is my mother language. I've practiced translating already and think I could provide an at least decent translation.

I don't have much to show yet. But I've made a section in my blog for the purpose of checking what I've worked on. So far, there's only the Spelunky translation, but oh well. My site itself now shows that I am a translator, as the site itself is now in both spanish and english languages.  Beer!

I will wait here for anyone that wants my services.  Gentleman

Just in case, here's the link to my site again, case you missed it.

It's indie and it's original, sure ya guys like dat kinda stuff, dontcha?  Gentleman

Anyway, here is the link to more info and the game itself:

also, one small thing: if you're pressing up, and walk into an object, you stop moving; if you press left or right, then, without releasing up, you don't move.  this doesn't feel too natural to me...
Yeah, always give priority to the most recently pressed key when you can only walk 4 directions.

Question: why is the guy so much bigger than the town and trees in this shot?

I'm guessing it's typical RPG-ish overworld stuff.

Anyway, I love how this game looks. I'm looking foward to see this game finished. Great stuff.

The ships should be all tinier, or the arena should be bigger. And the trails made me lose myself sometimes.
