The challenge is: can I make a logical-based game without even thinking about the mechanics?
Can you make a brainy game by using just your heart?
Maybe the secret goes deeper than it seems...
Sounds very shrinkish to me Looking forward to playing it...

(w00t first post)
Holy crap Martin! Great to see you here too! I'm so officially prepared to get ass kicked. During the last combo I got so ass whopped that I don't know what I'll do.

I had totally forgotten all about this. Big thanks to Hideous for the scan and the translation. I thought that my affection for penis drawing would remain a secret only to be known amongst the swedish speaking population...

I'll so be there! In San Francisco that is, not London. London isn't on the same land mass with anyone...

I don't think it was that bad of an article. I think it just tried too hard to label things. Also the word amateur has too much build in negativity in it. Don't know about you, but I for one I'm honored to be an amateur. From wikipedia: The word comes from French, and can be translated as "lover of", reflecting the amateur's motivation to work as a result of a love or passion for a particular activity.

That's officially the most indiest thing anyone has ever done!
Maybe they figured that if Phil goes to GDC he will no doubt end up signing a deal with some publisher (because Fez is so awesome) and getting shit loads of money and then he'll quit anyway. So they only way to keep him in the house, is to sabotage his changes of signing a deal with a publisher.

Well it's a long story, which hopefully comes to a conclusion soon.
Right now I'm waiting for them to update the DNS servers so the address kloonigames.com would actually point out to the right server. Hopefully it will happen soon, but knowing them it could take a while.

Player / Games / Podcast Interview with Alec
|
on: January 29, 2008, 12:21:35 PM

Indie Game Developer's Podcast posted an interview with our Alec. Here's the link. They discuss about Alec's game development past, Aquaria related things and about the indie community (tiger sauce get's mentioned many times). Also he hints that next he'd like to work on a game that his aunt could play Sound's awfully casual to me... Soon he'll only be hanging at the forums.indiegamer.com and doing games with unicorns and a lot of sparkle particles. My favorite part was that the interviewer had tremendous trouble figuring out how you spell "tigsource". I agree with the interviewer, it's like the most unintuitive url ever.
