Running anything shouldn't cause your computer to overheat even on a stock cooler, although high temperatures will wear down your hardware faster. I'd re-seat and re-paste your coolers.

How about instead of giving a direct post count, just make the levels a bit more limited, obscure, and informative.
Maybe Something like...

The actual ranges are just mockups but if you looked at a current snapshot of the community I think you'd be able to set up the ranges nicely.

For your first game, aim for the moon. If you miss you'll still be landing among the stars.
Then aim at the side of a barn. If you miss you'll know that game development isn't for you.

When *insert you favorite grunge band here* was offered a record deal, did they say "you know, selling out would infringe upon our art; get that shitload of money out of our face"? No, they did not.
Actually all the early grunge bands signed with Indie labels like Sub Pop and C/Z records and were hardly given a "shitload of money". They were only listened to by hip music followers and when the big labels observed this, they started signing up whatever mediocre grunge band they could find. So it was more like Blow releasing Braid and then Activision publishing a ton of small time-manipulation puzzle games. Ultimately I agree with what you're saying. It's either mainstream games borrow/steal from the indies or indies become mainstream.

I love how Shawn White dominated everyone in the halfpipe last night. His first run secured his gold medal and he topped it off in his second run with a triple-whammy 1260 McTwist or something like that (a move apparently only he can do). He was getting at least 6 feet of air over everyone else the whole time.
It's fun to watch someone kick so much ass like that. Why is there always exactly one person in every sport that's heads and tails better than everyone else?!
It's even more amazing once you learn that he was born with a heart defect and had two open heart surgeries within his first year.

You using Cri Vibe? If so, I can answer a few questions.
- I'd like to know if the egine alows you to start a music at a given point
Afaik, yes, but I've never tried it so don't hold me to it. - Does anyone know if it's streaming music or not?
Yes. - Do sound engineers must use criware specific tools? Like, do they need a specific editor to make music/sounds for criware?
It comes with its own encoder tools but you don't have to use it. It's wise to though since it makes sure the playback buffers are all of the proper size and stuff like that. - Criware has its own file system that they strongly suggest to use it. I was wondering, since we are using our own file system, do we need to modify our own file system or the criware file system is independant?
I guess that's completely dependent on your file system implementation. Their file system is specifically suited for multiple file streaming. Hope that helped. Criware is a far cry from Indie so you can probably call up Criware or email them with questions such as this and they'll be happy to answer them.

People already hate airlines, this is enough for people to just quit using them, particularly if they are bigger.
It's possible they may have an averse agenda in which they're trying to set up themselves as the airline where you can avoid large folk.

What if you are really skinny? Do you have to share a seat because there is room for two?
I guess logically you should be able to fly 2 people on 1 ticket if both of you fit in 1 seat.
