Offers to embed ad code into your flash game and you get $$ with views+clicks. You can put he ad code in the flash file then distribute it to N*million websites.
http://kongregate.com, http://armorgames.com are good places to start with if you want to see what current Flash game quality + style is like. I know Kongregate offers some developer program (they offer to buy your game/fund its production), both sites have ad-revenue models as well. If you make a hit flash game (the next Desktop Tower Defense for example), millions of hits = lots of $$ in your pocket.
Kongregate has basic Flash game tutorials - check the bottom of kongregate.com for the tutorial section.

Good luck  Cool

I was looking for the Indie Iphone Programming thread.. I was going to ask some questions about arrays and working with COCOS2D. Do any iPhone coders live on Tigsource?

Hullo, I've been on these forums before, but lost my password+wanted a new account anyways, so:

My name is Xeno and I've been passionate about designing games since I was 11 years old. My first projects were made in BASIC, then I graduated to Visual Basic (which is possessed - seriously weird shit happened to my projects after I wouldn't load them for a while, almost as if Microsoft's baby had cried and rotted away from no attention..), and in 2007 I scored a job to work in Sydney at Microforte/Bigworld by talking with the CEO at a Christian Game Developers conference in Portland, Oregon. (Bigworld is an MMO-engine (most sales in China/asia but offices in America+Europe+Australia+Asia) Microforte is the game dev side of the same company).

Was working as a designer/gameplay tester for ~18 months at MF over various action-MMO projects, which were all cancelled (and I saw one of the best writers and level designers get laid off during one of these cancellations  CryUndecided far later than they should. Work began on iPhone games, but then our programmers started mysteriously being transferred to the Bigworld team.

Sometime around then, the Mock Anger economy fell over and the rest of the design team announced they had scored jobs with other companies. A few weeks later over a dozen people were laid off in Sydney, and a bunch in the Canberra office too. (And our HR manager had to fire himself in the process..)

That was in November 2008, and I flew back to Houston, TX where my family lives. A friend of mine works for the basketball team Houston Rockets doing a lot of their 3D graphics/video editing. He has an older Mac, and called me one day about making games on the iPhone..

And now I'm learning Xcode  WTF and my goal is to generate my partner millions  Hand Money Left from profits! Soon as I master the intricacies of this alien language. *takes a trip to the Xcode thread*
