replaying through kane and lynch 2 in co-op. it's completely linear and cinematic, but still feels good as a game. it's better than the new max payne i think, and it made me feel worse about committing genocide on the chinese than hotline miami. plus you get to have a shootout in a mcdonalds while naked.
i'm also trying out multiplayer starcraft 2. i dunno it's like constant stress. i'm doing ok in silver league though.

yeah, i'm slowly making progress through smt4 as well. love the music. just discovered how red pills are made. eek!
been playing papers, please as well. i wish it was easier to go back and change the few decisions i did make. it's a pretty interesting game but i definitely don't want to play through levels over again.

just finished it. i like it a lot.
the very few horror elements i guess were meant for fun, but i don't like horror stuff, and it was offputting.
the main plot line is nice. this is prolly fleshed out in every review so yeah.
i don't know if i've found everything regarding mason, terry, and terry's father, but my initial reaction is that it's done well. after finding bits and pieces in the basement, i was compelled to go back and look through terry's stuff more.
i feel like i rushed through the mom's level/section of the house, but she's kinda boring.

aw man, i've been all about that shin megami tensei 4. gotta fuse them all.
also some prison architect. i've slowly figured things out, and my high risk security prison hasn't had any issues in the past 30 days. i think i found my true calling. i think i'm gonna turn off my metal detectors though and give the prisoners full access to the kitchen. it's not complete till the motha fucka burns.
been playing the skullgirls steam beta too. rip tod combos; you will not be missed.

this came out today, anyone check it out yet?
it's more of the same. most of it is still phil fish and team meat plus some derek yu and some of the stuff that used to be on the igtm vimeo channel. the phil vs japan part is not too fun or crazy once you see what actually happened

it's like pieces of farville and cityville and all the -villes in one game
i don't know too much about harvest moon, but the boxes i've seen at gamestop looked anime in a gross way

Mixed feelings on New Vegas so far. It's indeed closer to original Fallouts in spirit, but the dialogues still don't even compare. And the exploration part feels worse than in Fallout 3. The world design is a bit bland and amateurish
i hated fallout 3, but i enjoyed new vegas quite a bit. i didn't pay too much attention to the main plotline though. i guess i never do when i play these open world games. i'm wondering what you mean by bland and amateurish world design? it's supposed to be a barren desert after all, and i thought the world and the goofy dialogue were great. a large part of the enjoyment is that i played the game "correctly" in that if i ran into a locked off door, i'd skip it. or if i ruined a quest branch and made enemies, i'd live with it. i tend to play games with ocd tendencies, but the new vegas world was so engrossing that i just partook. -- i started the swapper last night. the bullet time clone creating bits feel pretty good. it's been real easy so far though. will prolly be insta-dropped once smt4 arrives at my door.

How does one play SHMUPS for a living?
people put their quarter down at the machine waiting for their turn. i'm so pro though, and little do they know, i make my credits last open till close. they eventually forget their coins are there, and i buy myself a nice dinner. but speaking of shooters, i picked up kokuga on the 3ds. it was released sometime last year in japan, and just hit the eshop a few days ago. g.rev keeps it old fashioned, focusing more on aiming than dodging that danmaku. it features a tank that you can freely control across maps with the joystick or dpad, and you aim by rotating your tank's cannon with the shoulder buttons. the game is pretty fun, but with the free form movement and map scrolling, it's possible to get lost in levels looping around empty areas, and when you find your way towards enemy territory, it's easy to move out of the range of static enemies and pick off enemies one by one. tension fades in and out weirdly because of this. there probably should've been a time limit. maybe there are in more difficult modes. the scoring system is wonky. powerup cards are placed face up in four piles on the bottom screen, and can be used by touching them. things like shield refill cards or stealth (invisibility) cards, and weapon powerups like rapid fire or laser. the weapon powerups though are what have point multipliers, and since each only lasts a limited time, you gotta know the map/enemy layout and when to activate. the wonky part is that the deck loadout you get is, at least to me at this point, seemingly random. i like the game though, and it's fun to play, surviving through the maps. there's also a multiplayer component which looks neat.

Are you still looking for help? I started a little foundation for a platformer a couple days ago which I've linked you to through PM. Can't say I'm the most knowledgeable programmer, but I'm totally interested.

Darkstalkers Noticed there is a rerelease for playstation with online matches and shit. Tried the demo too, but I am not sure I am convinced. I would prefer to have some emulators playing instead - is it possible?
look into ggpo. it's the best thing to happen to online fighting games- buttery smooth netcode, and it supports a ton of games.
