I had no idea this project was 4+ years old... It's looking great. I also noticed you keep a daily log of you progress. There's an air of professionalism to your work. Keep it up man.

I got some field data today at a bbq. My friend was frantically searching for an iphone with angry birds on it. At one point he was at a picnic table with 3 people's phones in his hands looking for the game.

You'll do great Saibot. Do you have some other people joining you on stage to take the edge off a bit?
TTS- That cold sweat when your computer take a dive and you're praying you saved in the last half hour. I did save. Phew...

I feel like I block my creative flow if I "try" to be creative or original. Most of the time when the creative juices start flowing, I'm doing some kind of menial task. Then I scramble for a scrap of paper and a pen to write it down for later.

I'm watching Misery for the first time.
We used to have that on vhs when I was kid. I snuck it in the vcr and watched it one day. I could have waited a few more years before seeing that haha. For awhile I thought Rosie O'Donnell played the woman(Kathy Bates) and I've been creeped out by her ever since. Anyway, I started playing Nox from Westwood Studios. I got it when it came out in 2000 I believe, but my family had the worst computer and the game was almost unplayable on it. I never got to far. I found it the other night and installed it. This game is rad! Next on my revisit list is Lands of Lore.

@leonelc - I'm glad you brought that up! I thought his posture was kind of stiff too. Thanks.
@Jason - Good stuff. It reminds me of the Lands of Lore title.

Ah that's so insane... It makes my old Roland sp404 look like an abacus. Yeah, I couldn't pay 9 bills for that and feel okay about it.

I'm finishing some dialogue in a game and need a grammar check. I know it's correct to say "My friends and I are blah." while speaking in first person, but what if it's not in the first person? If someone is adressing you, which is the correct way for them to say: "You and two of your colleagues have been blah." or, "Your two colleagues and you have been blah.". This wasn't worth a new thread in the writing section.

A simple tileset editor would be nice.
Here's some basic features I enjoy in other programs
Being able to... -save/load your palette -paste from the clipboard -use the eye dropper on the canvas to add a color to your palette -edit one tile and it edits every copy of it simultaneously -flip/rotate your tiles -export in png/gif -customizable hotkeys
A GraphicsGale/Pixothello smoothie. Smoove would be a sweet name ha.

Original Edit #1 -cleaned outline -colored (see palette in first post) -basic highlights on shoes, edges of rubber raincoat/hat fabric, bald shine, hair -basic shadows -age spots I used the same palette that I used for all of the in-game graphics. It was awesome applying the first colors and seeing it pop. Any cc or edits would be great!
