Yeah, I'll probably change it a little bit... But I don't really know a better way to show where/how the player can build.
I don't think you should worry about it until the contest is over.

Looks good.

Also,

Building system is in! No UI implemented for it yet, but it's in!

Aside from the standard defensive purposes, here's a mockup of how it could potentially be used:

Male: "DON'T YOU CLOSE THAT ENTRANCE YOU FUCKING B-"

Female: *places block over entrance*

Male: "NUUUUUUUUUUUU--askflj;askljlaksdkjkl

(Yeah... there's a lot of ways to grief the other player in this game.)

EDIT: I just realized how many basic mechanics Hempuli's entry shares with mine... Who, Me?
GOOD ONE, BRO.
Because it's totally not the exact same building grid with a few more squares and a different design.
OR NOTHIN'.

The goal is 'keyboard_string'.  One of the green teddies has it, and you have to utilise the environment to find it.

Half Life? You screw up the earth, and then at the end it seems like you screw up some other dimension as well?
This.
Except, Half Life Episode 2.
And there's some old game, um, Clocktower? I dunno.  I think it was on the PSX.  You're being chased by some little kid with a big knife and like, 5/6 of the endings are horribad.

Wow, I'm so glad I took the time to do my inventory system properly... implementing new items only takes a few minutes!

I'm so happy with this game right now; can't wait to get a playable build out later this week or early next week. Smiley

Later this week.
LATER THIS WEEEEEK.

Wow, the terrain generation is looking much smoother now!  Cannot wait until a playable version of this is made available.

I second this.

Personally, I prefer the name ConstrOHNO.  It's easy to remember and actually sounds like it relates to the game, since "OH NO" is something I would say if I joined a server and everyone completely decimated the ground.

Luckily there are 26 days left to settle on a name Smiley
But aww, it was sad to see you completely alone on the server. I'd happily play a bit with you but I really have to go to sleep. Yawn

I just had a stroke of inspiration or whatever the saying is.

The name should be "Vehicular Shitstorm".
Since this is usually a common theme in most games on here.
There you go.  No more worrying about the name.

I dunno if you fixed it in 1.1, but I broke something as you asked.

If the two balloons are coming at each other from the top and the bottom and collide correctly, they fly through each other at a great speed.  Replicatable.

Welp, if anyones up for a game, I'm hosting a room called "The Room".

I'm just now getting off.  Fufu.

Within the next week or two; right now there's a lot of features and work done, but no real game or any sort of polish.

EDIT: o hai dere poly

YES, IT IS ME, POLYGRAPH, the man who destroyed ConstrOHNO's foundation (with some help)!  MWUAHAHAHA.

I just checked my game.  I didn't even notice you joined.
I'm probably gonna play Team Fortress 2 in a minute, anyway.

And I still think you should stick with ConstrOHNO, since the name itself is pretty unique, in a sense.

Polygraph here.

I mostly lurk TIGsource whenever my friend links me games that interest me.  Right now, I've been busy playing ConstrOHNO (or Masjin, blegh), because it's an awesome game and will blow everyone else's Versus games out of the water.
Just saying.

For gaming, I'm really all about Valve and games on the Source engine.  I am the master of Team Fortress 2 (and I kind of suck at TFC).  I think the first game I played was Super Mario Bros. when I was seven or six.

And I have the best name here.  No questions asked.   Wizard
Nice to meet you all.
