I cant come up with a name for my roguelike right now. It has a complicated random dungeon and plot generater that generates a completely different adventure each time you play any IDEAS for a name? for example you can play it one time and you have to get to the bottom of the 'haunted catacombs' to kill the lich, the next time you play you may be going down to the bottom of the 'bloody dungeon' in order to retrieve an amulet. The next time you play you may be sent by a king to destroy the amulet that is corrupting the 'Corrupted forest'. any ideas..
Some ideas: - Not The Same Roguelike
- RogueMixed
- Thousand Adventures Of The Same Guy

That's it. I give up. Never again. I refuse to deal with video games anymore. Period. End of story.
Mind telling us what happened? I did say "End of story," but... When you can only afford to play very few things (like two or three games every few years) and it's impossible to win any of it, good at it or not, there comes a time when one should just throw in the towel. Only idiots never quit when they never win. Now I refuse to play or make games. Plus I'm starting to hate myself more and more with each passing day. I prefer to be an idiot who play video games just for the enjoyment they give me, even if I always lose or never be on the top list. Did you try at least a short game that is easy to finish? It could lift your self esteem.

Finally one part of my laptop give up today: my HDD . I lost some personal data, but the good news is that I have my games´ source code on Dropbox, so there is no problem. But now I can´t use my computer until I get another HDD (or get a new computer, I prefer the last one ). Right now I´m on the desktop of my home, but my mother and sister use them. Also the HDD is full and is less powerful than my own. So I will stop developing for now...maybe from time to time I will check the forum to keep me on date. I will take my time to use pen and paper and design my current game much better. Also, to design some mayor updates to my old ones. But I will be back.

In no particular order and based on the games I played: Dungeons of Dreadmor (first time playing a roguelike) Fallout 3 Killing Floor (A lot of fun on Multiplayer) Super Meat Boy Crayon Physics Deluxe (It show me up the indie games' scene) Bastion Defense Grid: The Awakening Left 4 Dead 2 Torchlight (I still don't play the second part though) Blazblue Saga Also, I want to play the new ones and not so new ones, but unfortunately my PC is not powerful enough to play them as I want them (some games, like Skyrim, runs slow even in minimum graphics). When I buy another PC (I hope so), I will be like a child with his new toy

Which would be better: Watching the Birdy the Mighty anime and then switching to the manga when it ends, or just reading the manga?
Depends of your tastes. I prefer to read all the manga, but it won't be the same as the anime version, sometimes better and vice-versa. I have two examples: - I first saw Hajime no Ippo on anime and it was awesome. When the anime ends I start reading the manga where it was left. I tried to see the first chapters on manga, but it wasn't the same.
- Ichigo 100%. Great manga, shitty anime.

Industcity, a game where you can produce any commodity and market them.
Sorry, but to me it sounds like a junk deposit. You can search about industry terminology if you need a better name. It could give you an idea. Industrial Zone is my example.

What do you guys think of the name Feyscape for a exploration based side scroller?
I don't know, I'm not good at committing to names. Always worried I'm going to think of a much better one later. Before Feyscape I was thinking of going with Wanderer.
First, please give us more details of your game. Just saying an exploration based side-scrolling game is not enough for me.

Cross-post from Screenshot Saturday:
An attempt at making a game in a month. I started a few days ago.
Is for the Ludum Dare's October Challenge, right? Good luck and success with your game Had no idea that this was going on. Started this right in October, haha. I suppose I can try submitting it to Ludum Dare when it's finished. Hahaha cool . Submit it on Ludum Dare, also on the market of your preference. It says that if you gain at least $1 for your game, you succeed on the competition.
