Each chili pepper raises the your fire power by a level, if you get hit you drop one level.

Thanks for the support everyone! Just a quick update to let everyone know the project isn't dead. Latest playtest have shown that the controls should probably be reworked for maximum comfort. The controls have been changed to dual stick and now I'm just fixing a few parts of the stage to center around the new control layout. Expect good things and big updates soon.
