i'd give it 5/5, but wall jumps and sliding behaviour is kind of weird, feels off and I had to quit somewhere in world 2 because of that

4/5
music is stunning and i absolutely love it

i kinda dropped clannad in the middle of the season 2 as well, i feel like anime went downhill in s2 and something just didn't feel right.

but hey, whole clannad/kanon/air are pretty weird animes

26  Developer / Technical / Basic question about objects in AS3 on: September 26, 2012, 05:28:58 AM
Hi guys, I've got a really simple problem with AS3. To illustrate it, I'll post C++ code that is exactly what I want to achieve.

foo* array[5];

//somewhere else
if(array[2] != NULL)
{ }

//somewhere else
delete array[2];
array[2] = NULL;

Now with AS3 I've got a simple array (var array:Array) and I'm not sure how exactly can I manage to delete objects from it and then check whether they're still there.

Writing probably isn't the greatest in SAO, but I really enjoy the characters and their world  Wizard

Farmergnome: very nice and stylish
Claw: I'm not sure how your lighting works, but if you make the background brighter near your light sources if would probably look even better.

The Trouble With Robots

I added the capability to take HUD-less screenshots, mainly so that I can take clean images for use as promotional material.  I'm actually pretty pleased with the results, here is a night-time scene of some menacing looking heavy 'compliance' bots:

And here's a rather comical one of a horde of dwarves defeating the weakest enemies in the game:

Check out my DevLog and Demo!

played your demo and the game is truly epic!

31  Developer / Technical / Re: Flash (or html5) / iOS crossplatform frameworks? on: September 10, 2012, 02:18:32 PM
This AS3 gives me a headache. Excuse me, but i'm not experienced with flash at all. I did some reading and it seems that FlashDevelop is a popular choice for your go-to IDE. However, aside from the AS3 itself people talk a lot about Air and Flex... What exactly are those tools? Do I need to use them to deploy my apps to iOS? Where should I start off? Any tips will be appreciated.
32  Developer / Technical / Flash (or html5) / iOS crossplatform frameworks? on: September 08, 2012, 04:05:03 PM
Hi.
I'm looking for some good engines/frameworks with a cross-platform feature between iOS and Flash (or html5 for that matter). I can't seem to dig anything on the Internet and some tools that I find seem not-so-professional. I'm interested in free possibilities as well as paid (although paid that let you actually code first and then pending on that pay and release the game).

Thanks in advance.

34  Developer / Technical / android - need help with widgets on: July 21, 2012, 09:22:58 AM
Im looking into a way to change AnalogClock's widget dial in my settings activity through code.

AnalogClock clock = (AnalogClock)findViewById(R.id.AnalogClock);

Basically now what I lack is something like clock.setDialResource or something... Any ideas?
35  Developer / Technical / Re: Any androids devs out there? Having problems with puting out certain layout on: July 18, 2012, 07:34:48 AM
can I use the android UI and widget system in NDK though?

36  Developer / Technical / Any androids devs out there? Having problems with puting out certain layout on: July 17, 2012, 10:49:25 AM
im a newfag to android development and after a few years of strict c++ coding with apis such as ogl, dx, sfml i really got a headache with all those layouts and stuff

basically im asking you how to achieve the following setup:

i tried putting together some random layouts and fixing it up with WYSIWYG editor but this thing just drives me bannas and i cant make it work...it feels like whatever I do, the editor behaves diffrently
if someone could give me some tips it would be awesome [would love an option to set it everything via pixels]

btw, can i create an event in form [activity in this case] that is called each frame? [no game loop sucks!]

39  Community / DevLogs / Re: The game of my dream on: July 04, 2012, 02:20:51 PM
Okay, I'll give it a shot tomorrow.
I tried playing the build from few days ago (first page), however constant FPS lag even on my high-end PC and the fact that my character was bugged [?] and displayed as an orange box AND that the envirovment kept loading in during my movement made me exit the game quite quickly. Hopefully new build will actually let me play and rate the gameplay :/

Where can I find the best build? I would totally play this.
