This will appeal to my map fetish in a way similar to Carcassonne. I hope.

Ha yeah rejection aint something I'm used to either :3

I'm lucky that I had somewhere easy to move to though I guess hugs definitely go to Dustin.

And to tanner who seems to be struggling in his chosen line of business.

I need hugs to get over the Quote button, seriously guys.

It looks even more confusing with the Eagle Engine on, but even the original pixel art confused me for a long time. I guess I never saw this guy walk to the left or right, since the sunglasses are much easier to tell from that sprite.

(If you can't understand, that guy's supposed to have sunglasses but I saw them as big big eyes.)

I just see John Hodgman.

I hate the system. But it just stops me from buying games I want. I'm not going to pirate them because it seems like a wasted effort and playing pirated games never feels right to me anyway.

I'm glad I didn't buy any because I have have recently been sent into the sticks due to circumstances beyond my control and I would likely not be able to play them anyway.

The internet and digital distribution is moving forward at a fantastic pace, the connection at this house hasn't changed for 10 years.

Bristol here.

I'm hoping to organise a game jam or something here soonish, but even Bristol is quite far north-east from you IIRC.

Bristol is fine. Bristol is the nearest Ikea to me.

I'm from the Westcountry, but I don't live there now. Does that still count?

Some are lucky enough to escape.

Seriously. Is anyone out there?

I feel so alone down here what with those crazy notherners and their Cambridge Friendship Club.

Anyone...?

Yay art!

Yay trees!

Yay kitten!

I have 5 of the little buggers running around constantly.

Maybe I should make a "productivity defence" game in which you must keep kittens away from developers for fear of their feet being tickled.

Just watched the finale. I am sad.

I love Matt Smith and I need him more than air. Christmas is too far away. Anybody know where he lives?

I am glad someone else thinks that the Vincent episode was fantastic. I really, really liked it and have spent the last fortnight fielding insults from my associates for doing so.

I always feel awesome when I have an idea and then I feel great when coding it and then suddenly everything works and I have to make content and then I get bored and wander off and find something else to do.

Also for the first time in forever I am stuck... but I WANT to be able to continue. This rarely happens. I find if I get stuck in a game I get bored incredibly quickly and find something else to do.
92  Community / Townhall / Re: Super QuickHook ( iPhone ) on: June 19, 2010, 02:02:06 PM
Boyohboy I sure do love this game. The first time I've played something for more than 10 minutes on my iPhone in longer than I can remember.

I liked Hook Champ but I could never get into it. Having the whole "chase" aspect removed I think makes it a lot easier for me to handle. Also it is beautiful. I love the leafyhook.

Make this at least 4 player and I can see it joining uberleben as a regular party game at chez LeFishy.

I adore this game.

I wish I could find a box of success.

LeFishy and LeFishy.

Though due to my current physical displacement I am mostly unable to play XBL and I don't actually have my PS3 with me.

in other news England is gonna thrash the us tonight

Are we though? Are we really?

I have no idea about anything that is going on but I decided I'll watch all of England's games because I'm stuck in the arse end of nowhere without a good internet connection and only the TV to keep me company.

What makes that noise? I have not heard such a noise?

What is football?

Sonds a bit like Munchkin Quest but a lot cleaner. I approve. I want to see some arts for this reimagining now please :>

I managed to play one game before my VM ground to a halt. Is there any way to play windowed? Fullscreen things frighten me because I might miss something going on in the background!

It was goshdarned good fun. My friend is completely addicted but bitter because he can only get like 30 boxes on easy.

Increpare, I think it was you who was using some music program where you can just scribble on the screen to make sounds...

I was intrigued by it at the time but the connection didn't really make getting it a possibility and now I have forgotten what it is called. If you could tell me it would be lovely indeed.

Just thought I'd let you all know that my motivation and inspiration is returning to me in great spoonfuls thanks to last weekend. Cheers guys :>

I had a great if unproductive time too. It was awesome to see people and get a bit of inspiration.
