This sounds a lot like Vantage Master, more than Pokemon, maybe play that for some ideas. Falcom made one of those games freeware years ago, though it's not 100% translated and it's an old and kind of clunky game.
I don't understand why you need to crack it, my WCII: Tides of Darkness: Battle.net Edition that was given away for free by PC Master some several years ago seems to work fine online, no CD key issues.
Great stuff, will you sell the final version? It's better than Dragon Quest clones people buy on iOS, like Dragon Fantasy, as it's more creative, less of a rip off, not a meme based story, and seems potentially deeper too. But I won't play this version much, I played a Driftmoon alpha and then didn't really have a desire for the final product.
Well, the point of kickstarter is to fund projects to actually get developed (even if many these days use it as just for marketing and don't need the funds to make the product) so what you're iffy about is basically the whole point of its existence. Games take time (and sometimes money). You can wait and buy/pre-order the game proper I guess.
Great animations, I like that you have cut scenes using the in game graphics. It makes me think of the awesome little sprites backstabbing each other (literally and figuratively) in Final Fantasy Tactics. But yours are of higher fidelity and not SD. Awesome. I can't back it though, Kickstarter has banned me for linking to another site that provided background information of a scammer that started a project there despite the fact I had backed like 10.
Just played a bit. It's quite amateur and janky looking, especially where characters and buildings are involved, not to mention the lack of things like roll controls which make flight even harder, but it's still awesome and fresh. I'd buy a sequel/reboot/remake with say, Super Mario Galaxy level of shine and polish to its visuals and mechanics.
This looks awesome and unique, I really want to try it but the download is so slow, 57% still...

Outer Wilds is a space exploration game that invites you to embark on a cosmic expedition into a turbulent world driven by forces beyond your control. Let curiosity be your guide as you fly into the heart of a gas giant, meet fellow travelers on quantum moons, and roast marshmallows beneath alien skies.
The game is a seamless first-person experience that gives you just 20 minutes to freely explore a miniature solar system as it dynamically evolves over time. After those 20 minutes are up, the Sun goes supernova and the entire Universe ends. Fortunately, the Solar System is stuck in a time loop, and only by exploring over the course of multiple playthroughs will you come to understand the forces and secrets that drive the Universe.
Sucks this didn't make it, I thought it looked at least as promising as A Hat in Time which is getting a lot of press and stuff. I dunno why this didn't, it's perhaps less developed at this point (A Hat in Time controls and character animations seem tight and polished) but it's also more creative with the physics stuff vs the more conventional platform adventure.
That boar's art style seems a little off compared to the rest to me. Maybe too much white/grey vs the heavy blacks of the other sprites. Well, even the white sheep is somehow darker. Dunno. Unless that's a draft! Otherwise, great.
Lovely stuff. Although I'm not entirely sure however, do the characters have perspective based skewed proportions while the environments don't? That's kind of a weird decision. But I don't think it looks bad or anything, I only really thought of it after starting to write this. Lovely, really.
I wanna get this, but I wanted to ask if there is xperia play control support yet?
the short answer is no the long answer is, you can find this out on the first page of the thread as inferenced by the fact that there is no mention of xperia play anywhere
Well quests could just be self initiated or their could be a display. The advanced character sheet is like leveling up and then getting to spend skill points.
The game is still really a long way before either of those things will be feasible.
Why is everyone getting nostalgic over a game that's only been out for just over a year. I mean, I've been playing since October 2011, technically, and I have a video to prove it!
If anyone is interested I would like someone to make a collaberation mod with me, becuase I'm not generally good at making textures for mods. I also need an idea for a mod.
you don't know what you'd be modding, and you've said you don't have the skill to make one yourself making a mod for an in-development game simply for the purpose of making a mod is just dumb
No, I don't want to be a tester, I want him to make EVERYONE have an update. I know he moved, a few MONTHS ago, but he should at least have something. It just really frustrates me, seeing this game not attempting to be at its full potential.
you obviously have no idea what developing a game on your own, in your spare time, is like you are a self-entitled prick
Imo expand it all you want cos it's way too simplistic. I even almost managed to get the orb back on my first run (and haven't really gone back since). More stuff are definitely needed, it's lacking in variety and depth.
it's not finished, what do you expect
half the posts in this thread are useless fan gibbering about nothing it's like trying to get info about an upcoming game by listening to the chatter at a local grade school
Calm down, I didn't post anything insulting or demand an update that adds more stuff as soon as tomorrow.
