Even when pressing Z on the overworld, it still seems slow. So I think it should be faster again, and I think the fast speed should be the default. There's no reason to force the player to have to wait between levels!
Another place I want multiple key bindings: on the menu/overworld I want to use space rather than enter.

This is cool! A lot of the level music doesn't seem to match the game though: feels like it'd be more at home in an action game. It sounds good, just is a lot more upbeat than I'd expect for a thinky puzzle game. Environments are nice and varied. It's awkward that I can't hold down a key to keep moving in that direction. Movement on the overworld map is soooo slow Minor: I'm used to Z for undo, can I suggest having Z/U/Backspace all activate undo?

We're moving the October meet back a week to the 16th October. Location TBC.
On Tuesday 8th October there'll be a Full Indie UK meetup in Birmingham, I'll link the details when it's properly announced but it'll be a similar drinks-in-a-pub atmosphere, preceded by a few short talks about what some people have been working on.
So if anyone is interested in talking about their game/whatever at that, get in touch with Jake Birkett (@GreyAlien).

Danced the multi-touch fandango and now have this working on touchscreen things. Did some multiplayer testing. Made the 2x3 layout the default, dunno if the inner balls move too slowly at that scale though. One guy didn't like the stun effect when losing your own ball (at 0.5s), but admitted that could just be because it caused him to lose a couple of times. Added a shorter 0.25s setting, haven't tried it yet. Having a gap at the edges makes it feel quite different. Added an option to change the number of bricks in each subgame. Added an option to make subgame paddles larger. Updated online build: http://www.draknek.org/games/BRICKbricksmashSMASH/versus.php
