Andy- I don't know what that is, but it's purple and glowing; I approve. Bones- I like the reflection; that's looking really nice so far (you are eventually finishing it, yes?).

There is not a number which describes the number of times i've been asked this question I just got this for the first time today. That's strange timing, considering how recently I read your post there. I hope this doesn't become a trend for me, too.

Your mother's a communist.
Maybe, just a little. Don't misunderstand, though; I do love my mother and she is great. ...But THIS THREAD IS ABOUT FEZ; LET'S TALK ABOUT FEZ. I'm excited for it. ...Umm. I don't know what else to say.

And I also get that people respect my oppinion more depending on what level I have.
I think this is funny, because you may have summarized the entire Internet right there, or at least the forum and blogosphere part of it.

You missed the point. I'm saying why focus on one man when the rest of us are working just as hard and struggling just as much while making stuff that's just as cool?
missed the point Life isn't fair. I love all you guys, but I shouldn't have to feel bad when I show support for one individually, and neither should anybody else. There are a lot of people out there working hard and making cool stuff. I don't see why people should have to keep their appreciation for individuals in check just because they don't have the time or resources to encourage absolutely everybody. As I put it in the other thread, the candy sharing principle looks a little weird when you have a large number of people to share with and a limited amount of candy.

(This would be better if the bottom text were bigger, since that's the "optimistic" part... ah, well.) (Substitute a different country where you have friends if you already live in Australia; I'm being pretty autobiographical with these. )

Gamification, in today's world, is so widespread that it does not actually exist anymore. The entirety of society is about reaching goals and milestones; making tasks and processes enjoyable by creating abstract ends for them. You work a job in order to gain a promotion so that you can earn more money, which you spend to improve, allegedly, your enjoyment of the cycle. What part of that doesn't sound like a game? Does life reflect games, or do games reflect life? Regardless, games are the most realistic art form.
(I don't know how satirical this post is. I'm sorry.)

TANGENT:
Mr. Fish works hard, and he has been working hard for years. He is a "real indie developer", not just a wannabe, because he is really making a game, and it is really a big deal. I know I personally wish more people were aware of what I'm doing, but I think I just need to be patient. On the other hand, maybe I'll get to a point where I've actually finished something cool, and people still won't play it. But I'm OK with that, because I'll be happy to have at least given a nice experience to a few people. I don't put quantities on aspirations, e.g. "Improve one thousand lives by the end of your own lifetime"; it's just "improve lives". Meanwhile, "being famous" isn't really important at all. Life isn't fair. Don't see it as "he doesn't deserve this"; look at it from the perspective of, "Yes, he does deserve this, and, unlike many other people, he's actually getting it; that's pretty cool!" There's no sense in giving a hard time to the people who are getting the recognition they deserve just because you aren't.
Summary: Rock on, Phil (and associates). Rock on.

My Mom always used to say that. In fact, she also said, "If you're going to eat candy, make sure you have enough for everyone." I have nine siblings.

Are you renaming your layers/frames properly?
I don't actually use it that much for animations (or, in general). The few times I did use it it would probably have helped to rename the layers ^^ If you do so again, remember this format: ANYTHING(AAAms) with AAA being any amount of milliseconds, and if it's a transparent layer with a slight change, then add a (combine) tag on it. No spaces. "(replace)" is your friend as well. ...Contributed to this tangential discussion.

Removed a knife from a boiled chemical bath and started a longer, cooler one. ...Working at forcing a patina on stainless steel. It's been going pretty well so far.

Track Eleven, that is super incredible. I approve of the antlers; I love putting antlers on hats and helmets and whatever. MartyMan, that airplane thing is really cool too.

Ah, great to see you have come to TIGSource! I remember playing some of your games a long time ago (including the first Detective Grimoire). I always liked the fun introductions you gave to the James the Zebra games... For quite a while, there was a period of time where "you've decided to take up windsurfing" was my standard response to someone asking me to "guess what"... I started out just answering my siblings (who are also familiar with the games) that way, but at one point I was saying it sometimes even to people who had no idea what I was talking about. Anyway, this looks heaps more interesting than anything you have put out before. (That's not necessarily meant to demean any of your previous work; I just mean that this looks very cool.)
