I grew up reading Michael Chricton- I really wanna reread Jurassic Park at some point.
I've read that book three times now, and its still awesome. I haven't seen the movie though  Concerned

I used to like these multivitamins I would get at the grocery store that were also gummy bears.

I'm such a kid.
I take those. I know a lot of older people who take them too.

I think we've come pretty far in the last decade. We have ipods, ebooks, and touchscreens. That counts for something, right? Shrug

Just finished the Great Train Robbery, by Michael Crichton, and now I'm reading Atlus Shrugged, by Ayn Rand. Lots of trains in both of those  Gentleman
509  Player / Games / Re: Which indie games have you spent the most time playing? on: September 27, 2009, 05:25:51 AM
Iji is easily my first. I've played through it at least 4 times, and I've done sector x about 200 times, because it's so fun to blast through with different ability set ups.

Ikiki's hakaiman has also sapped up a lot of time. I've also poured my share of hours into spelunky and nethack, and still haven't come close to beating either one.

Arcades with Metal Slug, Outrun and stuff like that, all my childhood friends, and their amiga 500 Smiley
There's a Metal Slug machine at the bowling alley I go to sometimes.

I would bring back cowboys.

You might want to look at Super Mario Galaxy.

Meh, Starcraft 5 wasn't very good anyway. The unit types were too much like real life.

Although I'm a medical man, and not so savvy with these computers, I am told I do not have permission to access your (most probably) wonderful spreadsheet Mr. Frezned.

Just the Doctor will work as well.

Oh, you can call me Dr. Joseph.
516  Developer / Playtesting / Re: BOOM on: August 19, 2009, 02:07:31 PM
I liked it, especially the classic feeling, but the screen either felt like it was too big or too small, which made it hard to play.
517  Developer / Playtesting / Re: Sim War 5 on: August 19, 2009, 02:01:01 PM
It ran fine for me, and it was very fun. The secondary creatures were unbalanced, but other than that I loved the wide variety of maps and weapons, as well as the graphics.

I'll be the doctor.

I was a normal human who always had to agree with popular opinion. I didn't do so well though Embarrassed
520  Player / General / Re: Are you indie? (Quiz) on: August 18, 2009, 01:03:49 PM
I got 80%. I had to randomly guess on a couple, like "Am I Awesome" and the other ones that were mentioned.
