Hey everyone (glob I hope it's OK to self-promote here)

My friend dom (@zerstoerer) and I have been hosting A Game By Its Cover as a jam on itch.io for the past two years. We got rid of the competition part and deliberately set the rules up to be as relaxed as possible.

We're running it again this year, and it's just about a week away:

We got Matt's blessing and we're resurrecting it this year! Just like Famicase, we want this to be a fun process that is all about creating cool things, so we decided to go without the competition part. There won't be any voting or prizes or anything, just a jam about making real games based on fake cover art.

I hope you guys don't mind.

The jam will start on June 20 and end on August 16.
