Ever tried detecting key strokes in JavaScript?
Noticed how inconsistent it is across browsers?

Yeah.

Fuck you, Microsoft.
Fuck you, Mozilla and Netscape.
Fuck you, Apple/KDE/Google.
Fuck you, Opera.

Then don't make games in the browser dumdum. There's a reason it's a terrible idea
I'm not necessarily using it for games :/

It's 2012
And they aren't that "inconsistent" any more, except IE. ofcourse

I never had that problem before about Webgl and keyboard input.
but then again, I got bored doing web related programming.

Also ADHD strikes again...
can't stop thinking about writing a custom 3d modeler.

good thing I learned Pascal, C/C++ when the Internet was young.
But still Gimp is easy to use... compare it to Blender.

about a good 3d modeler.
I could always email to the author of anim8or and beg him for the source code.
Hand Shake Right Huh? Hand Shake Right
or make him an offer he can't refuse

Also thinking about writing my own 3d modeler, which will be a giant waste of time to me
73  Developer / Art / Re: 3D thread on: April 09, 2012, 03:21:46 AM
I'm ashamed to say it.
I 3d model it in anim8or (wine) export it to Wings3d
and then rig it in milkshape3d ( Waaagh!)

What I think that GIMP need is some cash injection.
maybe someone or Google decide to give GIMP a billion so Gimp can be more competitive against Photoshop.

You avoid a piece of software because it has more features than you currently use? That seems a bit silly.

I don't need alot of functions, RGB is good enough for me
I avoid it because, IMHO I think it's bloated and also the learning curve.

(PhotoShop && 3DsMAX > ( GIMP == BLENDER )) > Wings3D

I Like GIMP, it has what I need and not MORE Gomez
Blender probably have more options then I don't need. Wizard
Photoshop has too heavy and too much options that I don't need  Durr...?
Wings3D has some good Options but no animations (no meat) Waaagh!

Blender 2.6 looks really very different. Also, it seems that the GUI in your Blender is bugged.
Durr...?

at least WINGS3D is still consistent
Unity...is bearable
I can still install Gnome 2.0 on it with Docky and Compiz Cubes.
