Starting to like this look I am getting using vector art to create textures. Please disregard the fact that these are just some random blocks... I'll post some more shots with an actual level some time.

Played through the La-Mulana 2 demo when I realized you can download it without having been a backer. Liked how I didn't have to cheat for any of the puzzles but I am sure the full version will destroy me like the first one.

Wow thank you so much for the link. I was combing the tigs tonight for a way to better understand random level generation and you pointed me in the right direction. Also great stuff you have got here haven't looked through all but I like the idea of random gun gen, sorry I don't have anything to add though.

Could you please explain how your random level generation works or any links to the theory of it? I'm in the process of researching this myself and yours intrigued me +1 I am also just getting my feet wet with random level generation and would love to get as much ideas on it as possible. Really loving everything about this one.

I really dig the visuals on this. As far as gameplay goes I may just be inept, but I had trouble getting the hang of it and thought maybe a dual stick shooter type of control scheme might be rad. I know it is still early so that is just my input. Looking forward to seeing more.

To Score, or not to Score.
My two cents. If you have money in the game (and I think you do, I saw a shop screen shot) then don't do a score system. I do like the idea of having a score but it may get too cluttered with the rest of the HUD. I suppose it also comes down to just how much the score does (is it only used to get an extra life every 10,000 points or will there be some kind of leaderboard or something else to add importance to the score). Hope that helps and by the way this is looking amazing and I can't wait to play the hell out of it. Keep up the great work. Edit: forgot to mention that music. Oh man, so cool excited to hear more.
