I've not used it personally, but this is exactly what PixelToaster was made for.
Holy, this is EXACTLY what I want. Unfortunately, despite the readme mentioning that the DirectX SDK isn't required to build with MinGW, this shows otherwise. If someone who has MinGW and the very-broadband-cap-unfriendly DX SDK could build it and send me the binaries I would be ever so grateful!

glut?

you'll need to store a 2D array and draw it onto the screen with glDrawPixels and glutSwapBuffers

but for something simple like that glut has the least boilerplate
Looks good, thanks.

I'm making a full-screen game of life screensaver, so all I really need is SetPixel() Tongue

Needs:

1. Very simple, a minimum of boilerplate code.
2. Basic input functions (just enough to detect key pressed and mouse movement).
3. Easy static link, with a low filesize.
4. Windows-only is fine.

Help please!

I'm just sayin, I was a bit confused by the giant paypal graphic. I'm probably not the only idiot. . .

Looks awesome though, I's gonna play it when I get home. :D
Episode II will be paid-for, if I'm reading it right.

Yes, I was a bit rude and immature. It doesn't look so bad on reflection. He really did give me a free copy, which I'll check out when my internet stops being slow.
68  Developer / Business / Re: A post on TIGSource on your(my) game. on: September 16, 2010, 12:40:05 PM
Sure, give me your email and I will send you download instructions. :D

Edit: Oh, you are 16. And I am not sure what are your intentions. I don't mind giving free copies of my game. But in your case I wouldn't know how far you would abuse me trusting you.

I'm confused. What do you think my intentions could possibly be?

I like it now. But quit with the comic sans, it doesn't even deserve a place in a prototype.

I love it.

I've always wanted to see someone play this shitty adventure game I made. Smiley
74  Community / Creative / Re: Coding a Single player vs Multiplayer game on: August 15, 2010, 11:32:20 AM
I hate to derail, but: I want to make a multiplayer game. Don't get me wrong, I know how hard it is. I almost never finish my single-player projects. I just want to make something with online multiplayer, for the fun and challenge. Unfortunately, I just can't figure out how to begin. So, can someone suggest to me: What's the easiest way to make, say, online Pong?

Aaaaa, how do you beat that fucking fish boss in Rocketaro? nvm, beat him
76  Player / Games / Re: Ikiki appreciation thread on: August 05, 2010, 11:07:26 AM
As packing it is a matter of probably a minute and uploading also shouldn't take forever, I really wouldn't mind doing it. You'd only have to tell me if you wanted the raw zip files of the games, or the unpacked, translated (and chronologically numbered) folders. Your call Smiley
Well, if you really don't mind, that would be awesome! I suppose the latter would be best. Please PM it to anyone else who asks though. Smiley

There is no official one, and I guess also no complete unofficial one, as the latest games were only released a few days ago. Though, I could put together all games and upload the package for you, if you want. 56 games and not even 40mb in size Grin I just wouldn't want to post that publicly, as I guess Ikiki would prefer the games to be downloaded directly from his site.
Nah, don't bother if it'd just be for me. Thanks for offering though!

Is there a single-download compilation of all Ikiki's games somewhere?

World of Text is a collaborative text edit... thing. Think multiplayer notepad. It's quite hard to explain, so just check it out. It's rather awesome and rather fun!
