Yeah I wanna second what @ephoete said, though I don't think it's a shame to be doing the game based on Doctor Who, I'm definitely looking forward to future pieces (you'll have a lot more freedom in all aspects).

I hope you will be available to help me on that in one or two months ^^

Sure thing! PM me when you need it and we'll work it out

Get help with the English translation in the final version, I'm sure someone here could help you.

Yeah my advice for you is to create a google doc with the transcript in at least english. If someone's fluent in both then they can translate... if not then you can at least get general help on english spelling and grammar (I'd be willing to go through).

Mmh, and that a feedback like the ones i like  Giggle

Good ! :D

I knew that the prison vs blackarchives minigames were introducing a false idea about how to manage with the second miniagme, tried to precise it in the dialogs, but It seems it's not enough  Concerned

I think if you change the doctor's stance (to one different from the prison) and also add some more emphasis on the lights (they did look like background scenery) that should be fine. The dialogue there is good.

Thanks a lot fo your patience and your feedback, we will do our best not to disappoint you Wink

Not at all :D

I'm assuming that the speaking characters will be slightly animated? Looks very neat

Couple of notes from playing through:

I won't mention the disjointed story or anything like that (just a note though, it seemed like you'd taken the important scenes from the episode and just put them in order, but there was no information flow from one to the next so it was a bit disconcerting, even as someone who'd seen the episode)... of course this is an early alpha.

I'd like to see a feature where you can click anywhere on the screen while dialogue is being written and it'll display it all at once. Many people will automatically spam 'Next' (I found myself doing it at times) and considering this skips the whole text and brings up the next bit I missed some parts.

Also some more guidance on the minigames/puzzles would be nice... It can be easy if you've been working on it for a while to assume that everyone will understand what they're meant to do, but for a couple of them I wasn't sure what I was meant to be doing. (The Dalek one was well introduced).

I enjoyed the flashing light puzzle in the war room, but again I got it wrong the first time simply because I had no idea what I was meant to be doing - the fact each doctor has the same stance as the previous screwdriver puzzle prompted me to click on the doctors... just a design point as to how previous experiences carry through.

The sound effects are nice, as for music (I know it's still early stages and you don't have most of it ready), it'd be nice to see a change of mood in the music (darker music when gallifrey is destroyed, lighter music when they have funny conversations).

Overall fun game, but you've got work to do and I know you know it. Well done so far!

@Tazi

Wow, big decision. Best of luck to you in whatever you end up doing.

My 2 cents is this:
If you're really struggling at your current job (in terms of general lifestyle) then quit. But I wouldn't definitely jump straight into this game full time.
Say you end up doing this game for a month. That's been a month working by yourself on this one thing. Even if it's not labour intensive that could really easily tire you out, and then you would be less inclined to finish the game, and that's a month of time and money wasted.
Of course, maybe it doesn't turn out like that.
If I were in your shoes I'd quit the job, and start looking for another. In the meantime work on the game regularly. When looking for jobs try find something more local and better hours. At the same time don't jump into moving to your hometown (unless you're set on that). Maybe you find the ideal job not too local. Just move local to the job!
Also take a look at game dev studio jobs. When you've finished a project with them, why not offer up your game? (Of course if you're willing to let others work on it).
Your social life may also suffer if you're moving... so keep that in mind. Of course I don't know your social life, so maybe it won't.

All that being said, if you're really set on doing it your way, then you probably should do that! It'll be what you enjoy most, and if in the longterm it doesn't suit you, at least you're flexible to change (keeping money in mind...)

Looking forward to updates, and best of luck!

To The Moon (top of the list)
Had another but then thought of more To The Moon so I forgot the other... guess that's it. Favourite single player game I've ever played.

Oh! Pokemon (X,Y)

I picked up Cait recently. Not particularly exciting but a safe pick.

First game Vayne I was like 'Oh I can outplay everyone I'm Doublelift so what' and fed... haven't played another in a while.

I don't like Quinn personally but some people can play her pretty well

Ezreal's my favourite adc because of his kit.

@Impmaster I played Teemo support for a fair bit of season 3 (i'm a support main and started moving away from conventional ones, playing lee sin and teemo often and doing really well one them). I build first item liandaries, it's really strong.
Haven't played it much in S4 so don't have a great build for it yet.

I was watching OGN yesterday, and one of the players nami mechanics have totally inspired me to play nami now. Really smooth champ when played well

Just placed in an entertaining video so that the masses can see it.

I know, so I'm not really that bitter. He's just entertaining people with it, and I can't blame him for that. Plus the game against him was really fun
