AMAZING! Visuals are definitely cool, a very natural feeling environment. The story sounds very interesting. I truly cannot wait to see more

Not a bad game. I won't go through and mention the issues since they've already been done, all except that I was a little confused at the final puzzle. It took me a minute, but I figured it out. The blocks were way too big to have them right in front of the screen like that... Overall, it's a pretty decent game. It was fun and it made me think a little. Good job!

I thought the game was a lot of fun! It needs a bit work, animations, block ao needs to be darker (hard to notice depth changes easily), and obviously walking up stairs.
Other than that, I had no lag as I played against another player...who accused me of cheating? lol.
Anyway, I loved the experience and I can't wait to see what's next! Good luck!

You don't need an account for anything. Watching and listening is all that's required. Tonight's "assignment" was to draw a ronald mcdonald creature...I kinda forgot about the creature part, and I'm awful with ideas, so I stuck to a regular old ronald: Tomorrow's broadcast will be EARLIER! 9pm eastern, 8pm central, 6pm western.

http://www.ustream.tv/channel/bobby-chiu-broadcastingHere is a link I've been going to lately. At 1am EDT (Eastern Daylight Time), Bobby Chiu, a professional CG artist, paints (photoshop) live and interactively. He asks for suggestions on topics to paint, has everyone watching paint along, and talks the entire time. He's very motivational and helps himself and everyone watching get pumped to continue painting for usually an hour or so. He talks about life as an artist, life working on big time movies/games/etc., and his experiences in the field. He also answers many questions people ask. The entire broadcast is a lot of fun. Sadly, my computer is too crappy these days to even run photoshop easily, not to mention the live broadcast through the browser. Instead, I'm going to pixel, instead of paint. If you'd like, join along. You don't need an account, unless you want to chat. You can watch his drawing and/or listen to his humor. I hope to see some TIG members join in! Paint, pixel, charcoal, whatever! http://www.ustream.tv/channel/bobby-chiu-broadcasting

it's a racing lawn mower for an arcade game. I love the side views, but hate the up/down views. could someone maybe edit to make it clearer? I'm awful with drawing rotations.

I was asking for a formula reference because the way it is now, being level 1 and fighting one of those eyes, it's a challenge. a lot of the time you'll die before it does. once you get to level 2, it still pretty hard, but not as bad. level 3 however, is a breeze. you can take on 4 at a time. and at level 5, you're pretty much invincible moving at breakneck speeds. the formulas factor in the player's level, vitality (health), strength (goes towards damage), dexterity (counter enemy attack), and agility (speed of movement and attack). plus weapon damage and armor defense for both you and the enemy against you. these are all generated stats, not if level=1{strength=5} kind of crap. You'll be able to add to each stat one at a time, allowing for a huge variation in the player's strength, speed, etc.

I made some fake 3D graphics. Also made a surface that generates shadows from caster objects. I'd say it looks pretty damn good for not being 3D.

I'm still working on a rogue-like rpg. Here's screenshot: Currently, the only problem I have, is these damn rpg formulas! Does anyone have a reference that could lead me in the right direction?

I'm working on a rogue-like rpg. Currently 16x16 grid based, though I think I'll switch to 8x8. Either way, it'll be (16x16 will be 2x zoom or 8x8 will be 4x zoom). Which would you prefer?
I just finished the inventory, now to throw it in. Next is a hud.

Today I created an ipod station. There are a bunch on instructables.com so I thought I'd give it a shot. The hardest part was hooking two speakers to one headphone jack. I used two peanut cans to enclose the speakers/wires. They really affect the sound. (not that advanced, but I'm pretty proud of it. next is to create an amplifier) I also finished editing an inventory I found on gmc. It had plenty of bugs, but I fixed them. I removed the mouse controls it used and threw in my own selection system using arrow keys to move your selection and z and x to use each item. It's tons better than the original. I pretty much rewrote the entire system.
