holy shit, PLAY DOWNWELL

It's a crazy good action platformer with roguelike elements, and I can't put it down.
A must play IMO

Quadropus Rampage, an action rogue-lite is free and pretty fun.

Oops, I left that Candies tab open for a while.

14 candies in my stomach
20 candies on the ground

I now have 40,100 candies  WTF

Rocket Knight Adventures.

I liked how it managed to tell the story of an attack on a peaceful kingdom, a bitter rivalry between a hero and a rival, and reveal a power behind the throne without a single word, and only the scarcest of cutscenes. The finale is one of the most satisfying video game finales of all time.

I fucking love Rocket Knight Adventures. Such an amazingly fun classic. Now I will have to do a playthrough today.

Also, Ganbare Goemon 2. A SNES Mystical Ninja game that never got an english release, good thing text isn't too necessary in this one. An action platformer with gorgeous graphics, great gameplay, and extremely catchy background music. Takes about 2 to 2.5 hours to play through.
Also the first (and IMO best,) appearance of Impact, the goofy looking mecha who destroys everything in his way; homes, temples, enemies, and pedestrians alike. The first person mecha boss battles are  Shocked
Just wow.

Edit: I just remembered, Sparkster from Rocket Knight Adventures has a cameo appearance in Goemon 2. Heh.

That's it, thanks!

Can't remember a game, pretty sure it's a SNES game.

You were law enforcement or something, and each level was you driving in first person view, the goal being to catch an outlaw. Catch him, probably by ramming him enough to disable him, and the next level starts with the next mugshot or wanted poster or something. There may have been shooting too.

Any ideas?

Brogue is free on iPad.

While the turn to turn performance speed leaves much to be desired, it's still perfectly playable. Now I have to go deal with a Wraith.

It was an okay mouse for 6 years or so, but the middle button has given out and I need a replacement.

Looking for a good claw grip made for smaller hands, with some extra buttons, especially now that I'm getting into DotA 2. Any suggestions?

Covert Action, Sid Meier's DOS espionage game sounds up your alley.

Wow, I thought I was jaded.

Any of you actually play this before declaring it terrible? I'd like to hear more than it's bad for the sake of bashing Capcom. If you have tried it, tell us why you think it's bad.

I played, and it's good, nothing special, but good. The bosses are the best part, they behave a lot like their SF counterparts, making them more than just a reskin, including them using super moves when you damage them enough. Level design could be better though.

Feel free to hate Capcom for releasing somebody else's game instead of following through with Legends 3, that's perfectly fine, but you're pretty much hating on a game made by an indie, not Capcom.

Just saying.

I've had several dreams where I'm in a game store, browsing away, when I find a proper sequel to Sam and Max: Hit the Road.
In one such dream, I actually managed to get it home and play it before I woke up.

Yeah, the Telltale games never really pulled me in the way S&M: HtR did.

Hurricane Sandy....I live in New Jersey, the trees here are already swaying and cracking. Storm hasn't actually begun yet.

I'm sorry about your cat, that's really sad.  Cry

Punch Quest!
Rocketcat Games just released this, and it's their best game yet. Even better, it's free.

Ugh, the left ear is better, but now the right ear is fucked up. I'm getting pretty sick of this headache, considering I've had it nonstop for nearly a week now. Just can't stand how all of my energy is gone after only a half hour of activity.

Ear infections that cause four day long headaches, with a Calculus 3 exam towards the end of it.

New Awesomenauts character to be voiced by Simon of the Yogscast.

Welp, that's enough of that game.

SirNiko, I'm sure you've figured it out by now, but Noitu Love 2 is above and beyond any expectations I had after the first game, it's really really good.

I've been playing Mark of the Ninja, from the same devs as Shank. Currently playing a new game +, which ups the difficulty in ways I think should have been in there from the start, like only being able to see within your ninja's line of sight, and enemies checking air ducts when they think you're around.
I don't even like stealth games, but I recommend anyone with a console pick this up, it's the most fun I've had pretending to be a ninja.

Just played four square with some friends. Has everything to do with a kickball, nothing to do with apps.
