I think my problem is over-blowing (teehee) with wind instruments. Over compensating the breath I need to actually make the darn thing work proper, then my air supply falls short before it should. Haven't had access to a decent wind instrument in years though, who wants to hook a brother up!? Eh eh??
I've always been a singer though, just haven't connected those dots between vocals and wind instruments. Even though you're voice box is the most basic of wind instruments I suppose.

You wake up in a bathroom stall with no memory of who you are.
Silent Hill 2? NO! It's much, much older. Probably one of the first games to wake you up in a bathroom stall with no memory of who you are. OH! OH! Deju Vu?? Edit - Deja... not deju

I wish I could play flute. Wind instruments have never been my strong suit, poor lung capacity I guess. Back in the day, I got through my grade 9 music exam by faking my flute notes with my voice!

Having given this game a couple go's I can personally attest to it's awesomeness. Looking forward to seeing the final build and sitting down with it. Also: that GIANT dark grey castle looking ship thing is the bee's knees. Straight up.
SkyFortress Forever.

I use the Korg Legacy VSTs for my virtual synths. The sounds are extremely accurate! Comes with a Polysix, a Wavestation, Legacy Cell, and my personal favorite all time synth the MS-20.
The copy I bought also came with a 3/4 size replica of the MS-20 synth as a midi controller, complete with a working patch bay. Mmm....

It's a job. But it's not what most people think it is. Most people who work for companies as a Game Designer also dabble in other areas like coding or level design. The person that just comes up with random game ideas and systems all day doesn't really exist, minus a very select few.
Go into College with a focus on a concrete area of game dev, code, art, sound, business, then work your way into a "Game Designer" position from there.

Guitar, bass, drums, piano, analog synths, glockenspiel, harmonica, violin, banjo, trumpet, err I sing so my voice I guess.
I can pretty much play whatever I can get my hands on. After an hour or two with a new instrument I can usually figure things out.
