Mountain-climbing platformer roguelike.
Inspired by (ripped off of) pen's idea.

Kind of defeats his whole artist vision of avoiding the typical tiles used in indie games today, though. However, I'd still like to make a climbing game like this.
If you're reading this and don't like the mockup, pen, then feel free to PM me and I can take it down.

I like what you have going here I can imagine a lot of neat gameplay that would go along with your image.  The vertically oriented roguelike rock climber certainly has a unique and appealling air to it. While I like where you are going with your image I personally find your color scheme to be too dark. Cheers.

First of all I have to say hey to DapperDave! (Hey Dave, Its me Matt Carter!) I think its pretty ironical that we both registered here on the same day.  Its a small internet world ain't it!

Now on to the introduction!

Hey everyone, I'm excited to finally be able to join you here on the frontier!  My name is Matt Carter I'm a long time (pro) game developer, I have been making games for around 12 years.  Its been a long time coming but I finally quit my day job to follow my dream as an indie game dev.  My background is in 3d character modeling but my passion is in anything creative and the world of big budget games just wasn't cuttin it in the creative department. So my buddy and I created our own company, Ragtag Studio at http://www.theragtagstudio.com/, and are getting ready to release our second small iOS game and start out on our third. Very exciting times. See you all on the boards!

Cheers,

Matt
