Go to train station and ask if people about the sleeping suspicious character, can't approach this one directly. Let him sleep for now. Edit: Also, why is our sheriff pointing his gun to the old cashier?

ask if people at general store have seen people on your wanted posters. Robbing a bank is surely no singleton deed, thus the suspiciously suspicious robber may already be wanted for something else.
