thanks!!
so, same stuff as usual. Joni's finalizing the world map this time (hooray), so I got around to fixing some collisions and interaction stuff for the world map. And have been doing other code things lately. Also we planned out our pricing models, but not sure how much we can do there, up to the platforms really. At worst, you'll be able to buy the game for $14.99 on release. We'd like to do 2-for-cheaper deals and stuff though.

Hey everyone (I mean, hey no one! I don't think anyone reads this?) !
Well, I've been quiet this month but... still no release date. Though we're continuing to make sure the game is working in full while finishing final art and stuff.
I've been thinking about writing some stuff about the editor in the game. MAybe I'll do that.
sometimes it feels like less people care about the game than should. we have a special art style, and our game is built on an interesting, fun, and accessible platforming idea, and we've tied that together with story in a strong way. I guess people may not like the digital painting style, but I think you'll grow to like it if you decide to play. I'm not sure. I really believe the press is making a mistake by not paying attention to the game...
Anyways, continuing on finishing the game. Joni's almost going to move onto doing the final art for the gauntlet areas! Hooray. You may remember that they worked on the tilesets a few months back. This time, it's to polish the tileset, and use the autotiler in all the parts of a power plant level, not just the first. should go smoothly.
i've just been tying up loose ends of coding and small bugs, like always. halfway or so through my 3rd playthrough.

I've been working on things recently, mix programming fixes, but also the bonus Even the Ocean OST. I finished it! It's made up of unused songs, outtakes of current songs, and really old stuff and short sketches. It's about 90 minutes long. It'll be included and streamable within the same official Even the Ocean OST.
The final ETO OST is a little under 4 hours, so you'll be getting a lot of music if you buy my album for... probably $7 price I'll put. $7 or more.

Happy to announce that I'm finally working on getting the OST uploaded to Bandcamp! This involves a few things
- Going through my spreadsheet of songs and fixing any last things - Re-exporting any 'problematic' songs as 128 kbps that seem to skip a lot in-game, b/c apparently that might help? - Upping the volume on songs for the final bandcamp OST . I'm not sure if I'll do this for the rest of the game's songs since there are so many, but who knows. - Exporting songs as .wav files to be uploaded to bandcamp - Assigning song titles - Going through outtakes and organizing those, and creating an outtakes album.
To be honest, I really should have picked a slightly higher target volume for the songs, and exported to .wav originally, so I can render those down to whatever. But oops!
The final OST clocks in just under four hours, the outtakes will probably be 40-80 minutes or so, not sure yet.
