I think that their are definitely pros and cons to choosing android over traditional linux. While the ratio of crap to actually good software may be a lot higher on android, it also has the basic convenience that is an important difference between consoles and pc's. It has the APK format to distribute its software, and has updates and payments simplified pretty well. Even what is (IMO) the best linux app store, the Ubuntu store, still can be a bitch sometimes when it comes to new versions of software. I have even had problems with software that doesn't work at all once or twice, but this is probably a product of the extreme hardware fragmentation that exists in the PC market but would not affect the Ouya.
This is all in my opinion of course. My linux knowledge is self-admittedly pretty lacking and I am sure it goes a LOT deeper than this. Any opinions?

Great. More fucking zombies. Great. The Walking Dead: The Video Game. Without walkers zombies. I'm not a huge zombie fan either, but hopefully this game will turn out alright. It would really help validate the platform if it did

@ANtY: Congrats on Rune Master! Does Rune Master run natively on Linux now? The comments on Desura left me wondering if it only runs on Linux via Wine... Which is no big deal, I'd just rather not advocate being a Wine-o. Also: Native Linux support means you could upload it to the Ubuntu Software Center (yes, Linux has an "App Store", several in fact, most are free). I just realized I haven't watched TV via Satellite Dish in over 2 months, then canceled the service. I'd say I was a "cord cutter" -- But satellite is wireless via microwave, so... Yeah, I would highly recommend trying to get your shit onto the Ubuntu app store, its pretty nice Maybe, I'm not a fan of Cave Story, second thing: he was making it as a hobby after work and only by himself, so there's a difference
Aight, your at least doing better tham Duke Nukem Forever then

0 It looks cool, I was going to be your first sale, but my windows box is packed up right now and the site says that the Mac version isn't up yet. Prayer goes out to you though, may your sales be as numerous as the stars in the sky

From a reliable source: The Ouya is actually a demon summoning machine to prepare us for the incoming demon invasion.
It'll still be only $100 or so, right? I'm not paying any extra for that. Yes, but in order to summon (and control) demons, it needs the Demon Summoning Program, which is only given to a chosen few. So for most it'll still seem like a normal gaming console, until they witness demon summoners fighting invading demons. (This is all from a reliable source.) My homie in Nvidia tells me that Tegra 3 actually means The EtriGan Response Apparatus 3.0

FF7, just for the unique cinematic angles. Right? The camera had to be in a specially chosen fixed position for each segment of any area because the backgrounds were hand drawn. It blew me away how natural it felt to navigate the first time I played through; I felt like a director. That's one of the charms of psx rpgs that I really miss, along with the pre-rendered backgrounds. The layout is more appealing than full-3d, there's an atmosphere to it. They should continue to take advantage of the photographic design. PARASITE EVE MOTHAFUCKAS

I'm a backer, personally I think its a great idea. It kind of seems to me like this is something that may go the way of the gamepark or even the Dreamcast though, with a small but dedicated community.

I mean when you click the "export" option, the format in the filename is still .pyxel, it exports a png but you have to erase .pyxel and write in .png. I think that if someone wants to export something it should automatically be assumed to be a png (unless there is a "flat" version of your .pyxel format)

Also, I noticed you can save as .png when you export if you change the file extension. But if you write .png when saving as pyxel it becomes .png.pyxel. You should automatically change the file extension to .png when using export, for clarification and ease of use.
This was also a problem I noticed. It only costs me like 5 seconds of time, but if it cost me 0 seconds of time that would be even better

I've already solved this myself.
Place a door. Flood fill on either side of the door. Check the colours on either side of the door.
If they are the same - the door does not fragment the level. If they are different colours then you have a lock puzzle.
Now place a key on any tile that is the same floodfill colour as the entrance to the area.
Bam.
Lock and key puzzle.
You can do it with fancy graphs and such, but the method above is probably the simplest. For multiple keys it would take a bit more logic, but the principle is still the same: 1. check for fragmentation 2. place a key on the accessible side of the fragmentation.
Thats... really smart actually. I guess simple solutions really are best

I am not a very good artist, but I love how well this program has allowed me to make quick, reasonably good looking "placeholder" tiles for a small project I am working on. I will definitely buy a real license when it is available. Congrats on the great work man

Thats a beautiful dog. Where do you live? (on the slight chance I am close enough to give it a home. I have another dog that is a rescue from an abuse situation. As well as a non rescue dog)
