Hey Andrew,

I've been following the development of this game since watching the first EGX game jam video they posted online. I gotta say that I'm seriously loving everything you've showed about the game so far and can't wait to play it!

Keep the DevLog videos coming as I love seeing the progress you guys make and keep up the good work!

I'm sure this is an inconvenience for some people but this gives me more time to learn stuff. Whey!

Evening all!

My name is Joe and I wanna learn how to make games. Like most people on this forum I've always loved games and have dreamt about making them. Right now I have pretty much a non existant understanding of coding but I have set a personal goal for myself to get to at least a basic level where I can make games I enjoy. I'm a ok artist but since dropping out of university I haven't been drawing to much so this is also a great way to get myself back into the practice of that to.

My first game I've been making is just a small once screen survival/highscore game made using a simple drap & drop program for making flash games called Stencyl. it's called SUPER Bear Hunter: Apocalypse and you can play what I've got so far here http://dl.dropbox.com/u/76898314/Game%20Hosting%20Site/Bears%26Guns.html.

Once I finish SBH I'm gonna move away from Stencyl and focus on Game Maker. I've done a few parts of Derek's tutorial and I really like GM so far and it seems like a great way to get into the practice of making games with me having to learn a butt load of programming.

I look forward to learning a lot more and being part of the community!

Joe
