I think its a shame with what is happening with video game censorship in various countries. I've noticed in recent years that in society there are more and more people who have an apathetic attitude.

The thing is change is sometimes more easier to achieve than many people realize.
A few years back a local piece of bushland a street away from where I live was going to be turned into a housing development. So I wrote a letter in to the local newspaper sure enough it got published. And the next thing I know a large part of the bushland got declared a park. I'm sure some others in my local area wrote a letter too.

The thing is if people do not speak up the problem whatever it is cannot be resolved properly.

1280x800 is what my laptop does.
1680x1050 is what my desktop lcd does.

The one recent trend I have noticed is the increasing number of netbooks out there.
I looked at my friends netbook the other day and it could not do above 1024x576 such a low resolution makes a common 800x600 resolution seen in many games a problem Shocked

Thank you for you input Cactus.Smiley

I need to compile a larger demo while at the same time making sure its not too
much for the web server to handle.

As for being a religious game there is the occasional bible verse, but the game is designed in a way so it will not be too pushy or annoy the player with a quiz.

Here is a link to a screenshot that demonstrates how I implimented it, by having a bible
verse that is relevant to the scene.

cactus: For a children's game, maybe it lacked fun factor.

I wondered about whether I had achieved the fun factor or not, so I tested it
a few months ago.

So far every child who I know has tried it has very much enjoyed it and spent quite a while
exploring around the game.

Another child played the game so much that he was still playing over again a fews days later.

cactus: The dialogue was very basic

Yes I tried to minimise the use of multiple choice selections
as some people simply don't know how to use them. Though sometimes it
was necessary.

Here is a screenshot example of multiple choice being used in the game.

This game is aimed at a niche market area where I believe there is a gap.

I tried to make the game so the player can explore
here is a screenshot of what you will see inside of one
of the glowing windows.

I hope I am not putting too many images in one thread.

Dimjimma: I was mainly made curious by the graphical style - On the screenshots it looks rather special in a good sense. But when animated they almost look a bit scary ('cause of uncanny valley), I have to admit.

The graphical style is unique and in some ways similar to renaissance art. Watercolor and modern computer graphic art styles were used including 3d for some things for example the lawn.

Thanks for the positive comments about the art Smiley

My Adventures Through Heaven is a game that takes you on a journey through the children's heaven. The game is controlled using the mouse on the top of the screen there is a menu bar to select an item the player left clicks on the item and then tries to figure out how to use the item using various clues along the way.

Items can be in obvious places or sometimes hidden away. The player travels through the childrens heaven finding these items learning along the way what occurs in this place.

Here is a small video clip showing gameplay.
