The only difference between the visible light spectrum (red to blue) and the non-visible light spectrum (x-rays, microwaves, radio waves, etc.) is wavelength. Simple as that. They all consist of wave-particle photons.

It's very difficult to replicate something that probably never happened.

So basically, hawkings theory the "hawking radiation" states that space is filled with "virtual" particles that spontaneously appear and then collide with their twin particle every moment thus disappearing. His theory is that if there is a black hole small enough to have a weak enough outside pull and still maintain an event horizon, then one virtual particle would fall into the event horizon while the other would be "set free". If people could artificially create a black hole or something similar that does the same effect, then we could potentially guarantee an infinite stream of virtual particles. This, in turn could be unfathomably effective if we could somehow utilize the virtual particles for energy. However making a black hole is maybe not a good idea.

There is another way to make free energy. Jupiter is a large planet and it has small moons orbiting around it. The moons core should have solidified a long time ago, however, the relative proximity to Jupiter ensures that the planet is constantly stretched in a struggle between both it's oath and Jupiters massive gravity. This means that IO, Jupiters moon, could potentially outlast Jupiter because its core is constantly stretched back and fourth and thus kept hot and active. This means that Jupiters planets could have a constant magnetic field!!! obviously Europa would be a better candidate to live in, but the effect is seen more on Io. Living on thses planets might guarantee infinite supplies of thermal energy.

Weird. I can certainly see it in the last picture. Are you applying some kind of over rendering thing on the entire image? It looks kinda pixely and kinda fabricky. Interesting method. The cave in particular looks verry interesting because of this.

I tried the demo. It feels nice. The micro management is a bit strange. Perhaps once a unit is out of turns the player shouldn't be able to control him any more? Also, you said only four colors right, I spy with my little eye more than four in those mockups. No problem with that. In fact, they look great. Just curious how that works.

Welp, looks like they've now started denying that the scene is attempted rape, or even sexual assault.  So there goes handling the subject maturely out the window.

Let's not erect the problem any longer shall we? We're already bearing a great load as it is, what with all the QTE rumours. I mean, this might give birth to terrible memes. If they DO fail however, this would be an impenetrable argument about violence in video games. If they succeed, then this is a sign that truly people have hardened enough for more "mature" scenarios and stories. At least, that's just my position at the moment.

 

i think it's a pretty transparent attempt to generate "controversy" esp seeing as no one really gave a shit about tomb raider for like the last 7 years. it sucks how their tactic is already working because everyone's talking about the rape scene.

How can you blame me!? I WANT TO KNOW! It's not like it's my fault. True, I would like for nintendo to finally bury zelda and mario and metroid but I would also like to see an apocalyptic steampunk hyrule with a grown up link and a rough princes. I would like there to be an end to things, but what if there isnt? I would like it if people stopped asking for half life 3 and realized that it can't be reanimated, but it would be cool if they did it. It all depends on how well the final product is.
