Neat idea!  Here's a recording from my latest game Mosaic, which features generative / procedural music:

Just noticed this:

Not listened to yet. Saving it for whilst level-designing tomorrow.

It's a good ep - great to hear about Derek Yu talking about procedural design in depth.

Just made by me - "The Broody Vole"

http://sites.google.com/site/darrenjohngrey/games/Broody%20Vole.zip

Play a lady vole going through a meadow looking for mates so she can have babies, and then protect your offspring by the horrible weasels and foxes.  WARNING: This is a roguelike, so no graphics Tongue  Move/attack with mouse click or numpad/arrow keys.

I've never done this before, but it looks like it should be a lot of fun.

I've got a hotel booked nearby to CB2 for Friday - Monday, but not my trains yet.  What time do people tend to show up on the Friday, and does anything happen on the Monday that's worth sticking around for?  Just wondering what times to go for...

For those still on the hunt for accommodation (YHA and Abbeyfield are booked up) LateRooms has just bagged me a bargain and there are still some good deals to be found on it:
