Awesome feedback guys. I had put this project on the back burner while I figured out how I wanted gameplay to 'feel'. But now with all these words of encouragement, I'm jumping back on. And you should maybe jump off the guys without parachutes?
awesome idea! I'm thinking for the end, you should like hit the ground, and then all the body parts you cut off should like fall onto the ground.
yeah, that's gonna go in during the "lets add things that make it feel more complete" phase I didn't find the shooting to be annoying. I think it should stay in, but maybe make it a somewhat rare event.
Hmmmm, I'll return to the idea, maybe make it more 'announced' that they are firing/gonna fire

Added the ability for them to shoot at you but it really wasn't fun. Also then tried to double the width to give you more room to dodge. You can try it http://www.swfcabin.com/open/1263482443I don't think I am gonna pursue them shooting at you. other ideas: - Bomber run, drops bombs you have to dodge
- ??
??
I think, I want something to reset your multiplier. Also thinking about powerups - Jump off sword to regain alt
- Insta kill teleport mode
- ton ofguys come at once thing
- longer sword powerup?

After being inspired by Bones awesome picture. I felt that concept had to be brought to some sort of life. So I present Air Samurai[working title] a game about flying though the air and chopping down WWII paratroopers Due to my crappy programmer art, the guy isn't a samurai right now and the sprites are basically images I shrunk down and cleaned up the edges. TRY IT:play the most up to date ver on my host HEREor you can play before I added the parachute guys on swfcabain HEREArrow keys to move, Z to attackThings of note - the "sword" grapic is just a place holder for hitbox, hopefully the animation will pick up the slack
- Parachute guys, I am planing on having them shoot at you.
- Maybe adding other things like planes or bombs, it's all up in the air(no pun)
- Maybe adding powerups, like jumping off your sword to regain alt[like this], or being able to jump from one guy to the next in a insta-kill mode.
Feedback and suggestions are welcomed and needed. so is art, lol Also Bones if you have any problem with my going off your idea/concept, let me know and I'll move on to another idea. For now kill them all and get a high score I made this and I am sorry, lol

This game has the greatest bug (feature?) I managed to make it to lvl 6 as the social media expert, pushing piles of enemies to the right, and all of a sudden the game broke and I started to level up dozens of levels per second. I shut the game window after I hit level 2000, fearing a catastrophic crash...
that's awesome, how did you make it to level 6? I've never made him to level 3 I was doing great, then a slime slimed me for 57 (which killed me, even though I was at nearly full health at level 9 or 10 or something). Fun little game!
oh, yeah the slimes have a powerful but slow attack, but a 1 shot is not good.

Sharing your scores and what class you made/died with would be awesome.

Hey, I added some RPG elements but suck at balance or knowing how to use them correctly. I could use some help with formulas or how to use the stats I have. so far I have: str, def, mag, magdef, agi, dex, int, hp, mp, and attack speed. These where the first stats I thought of. Right now I have basic (my.str - their.def = attack) but I am not happy with it, or the balance while I level up. Any ideas? I am pretty much open to anything or any formulas, just shooting for some balance.

http://www.webfaction.com/I run a blog(wordpress) that gets about 3k unique a day, 2 python/dajngo sites, and a handfull of other sites/blogs. Never had any down time even when I was on the front page of Digg and Reddit in the same day. All on the one of the basic plans. They are simply the best host I have ever used. They know what they are doing, are quick to respond (either email, or on forum). Really give them a shot. Doesn't matter what tech you use, rails/django/wordpress/drupal/ect.. they have 1click installs for most and also allow you have to have shell access if you need something else. Affiliate link
