I really want to. As soon as I level up my skills sufficiently, I'll take a crack at it. Not nearly enough 3D platform games in the world.

<removed bit of spur of the moment related to wanting to make a game like what you described. Too many projects already started, can't really start more now.>

Your idea is just kicking ass in my mind now. Do it, please.

Anyway, to contribute with ideas I'd like to see/realize:

- A sort of reverse-shmup, where instead of you being the sole ship that can destroy the menace, you are the "wicked dictator"/"mad scientist" or something who has to build and deploy those ships that go towards your then enemy. I'm thinking of some sort of RTS, in which you command the building of ships and the research of newer, better ships and weapons to delay or destroy the so-called savior, at least delay him until your (or the stage's) big-ass ship is ready to take on him - or delay him a bit more, so you can run up to another place and start another stage.

- Some 2.5D game like a deathmatch of paper ninjas, in which the ninjas could fold themselves origami-like into many things like birds to reach high places or envelopes to pass below doors. Swords would cut up and thrash the killed ninjas. Cardboard and rice-paper houses which can be cut are also part of the idea.

The piano is a great instrument to learn; I would argue that it is one of the most useful of them all.
It sure is. Not only in and for itself, but when you play the piano you can learn and use harmonies in ways you can't do easily in other instruments, like the guitar. And sometimes you can just get a glimpse of illumination about the whole music thing.

Dammit, we've lost some good men this year. Rock on, Mr. Les Paul. Rock on.
yeah, Les Paul was someone I wish I knew more about earlier, not only by his guitar designs (which are marvelous, by the way. I'm still "in love" with my guitar, a custom LP with fuselage-like paint job. awesome sound.)

oh, well, I, um, ah...

 Gentleman

I'm Tiago, a 25-year-old graphic designer currently living in Rio de Janeiro - Brazil. I've been playing video and computer games since I was 5, on my cousin's 2600, and since that time I've been telling myself I'd be making something like games when I grew up. Since I was 12 I've been studying programming with the express desire to make games and interactive stuff.
Well, here I am, grown-up, recently graduated from university (BA in Industrial Design, specializing in Graphic Design) and still hopping from job to job to get to be financially stable, yet now managing to find (or create, out of nothing  Wink ) some extra time so that I can work on my pet projects, my games, and actually get to show them to the world. This, and I still have my own website to make, which has been taking a shameful amount of time to go online (and this is a note to self).

And this is me:

Well, I hope I get to be a good friend of yours!  Beer!
