I heard somewhere that when pubs say "Female leads don't sell" then point at the few games with females, they're really just pointing out that no one is making games with female leads because people are scared of trying. So if they hadn't been stopping female leads, there would have been more on the market.

wow these guys have really come into their own. they started out as a relatively solid neo-psych band in the spacemen 3/loop mold then became an also pretty ok neo-krautrock band. but on this album they decided to collaborate with uwe schmidt (probably best known for making an album of latin styled kraftwerk covers under the name senor coconut) and its basically a combination of minimal krautrock/psych jamming and techno/house that totally works. really really nice.

Lines like this scare me off of trying to find better music.

I went on a trip and my friend brought some portable speakers, so we listened to his chill rap quite a bit. I hardly ever listen to rap, but I quite liked his taste. I downloaded some from Chance the Rapper, Childish Gambino, and some of Snoop's stuff. Anyone got any good chill rappers? I don't like rap which focuses entirely on the vocals, and I don't want any of that too angry stuff either.

i saw the avengers its exactly the kind of dumb summer blockbuster fun you'd expect. lots of heroes making wisecracks, making references that only a few people understand, and endless action with all the superheroes. It's dumb fun.

Paul was a guy who used to post a ton, he's been here a really long time. He's recently doing real life stuff and working on his game Saturated Dreamers. John was a dude who modded here and really liked anime. Both of them were part of the regular Tigsource crowd. (I can't really remember much about John, tbh.)

Variety is what gives life flavor, so he's using the time now to enjoy the things he couldn't when he was younger. It's not like he suddenly just thinks game making is bad, he just has different things to do with his time now. (also the whole "can't do anything without being scrutinized" thing)

Skyrim with the Realistic Needs and Frostfall mods is an amazing fantasy world simulator. You have to be the hero and all, but you also have to survive just like the hero would. It turns the journey going to quests just as interesting as the quests.

I love 60 FPS. PC Gaming Master Race for Life! (Although I really hate the people who actually believe in that term lol.)
