Good luck making YouTube profits on your own. I personally need an aggregator to claim the content for my videos just to get some of the ad revenue I should be receiving (glares dangerously at Adsense's payment threshold).
All hatred for YouTube "monetization" aside, if you want to make money off of your music, then there's a good chance you need others to help you out somehow.

Thank you, I play a little guitar and ocarina, but not enough to call myself especially musical. I really enjoy your track btw Ah, okay. You're welcome! And thanks for listening.

Well, finished the bulk of my own submission to this contest. Not submitting it, yet, though, in case I can think of ways to improve it later. Was pretty difficult for me, personally, given my specialty involves minor and/or chromatic scales. XDD

Hey guys! I recently uploaded a new track on my SoundCloud "Alone". You can listen to it here: https://soundcloud.com/musicore-studios/aloneI just wanted some feedback on my piece, as it is the first piece in my independent album "The Clouds". Another question: How do go about buying new samples? The leading music sample providers like EWQLSO are EXTREMELY expensive, and I feel like the samples I use in my music are getting repetitive. Any help? Right away I can say that the volume is way too soft. The melody is nice, from what I can hear, though. As for samples, have you looked at Zero-G? They do have some titles worth only $30. Another good place to go, albeit for electronic sounds, is Sampleism; I've almost never seen stuff sold there in excess of $20.

First of all, apologies to everyone for my long absences; even if I wasn't so caught up with schoolwork, I recently had a detour of kinds of music made: frankly, I feel my most intense horror-themed music is beginning to all sound the same, for one. That being said, I wrote this synthwave music. Unlike prior pieces, this took a few days to complete, whereas most are finished within an hour or two. If anyone can sense improvement in my writing because of the extra time, please let me know. https://soundcloud.com/sgtyayap404/city-nightsI realize this may not be the best game music, but I'm still interested in people's thoughts.

Wow! VERY impressive! Adventure games seem to be so underrated, even despite Minecraft.
