I've spent years making mods for a certain online building game, but I don't really remember why I started! I think I saw all the cool stuff others were making and wanted to be a part of it. I didn't have any particular ideas in mind. It would probably be for the language/engine - the game was a great way to easily show other people what I was doing, and if you made something cool, people played it. I still mod that game for those reasons - it's a great way to prototype ideas and get immediate feedback.

As some poor sap who has never really played a beatemup, I find this to be extremely fun. I need to find a second player.

I realized I have a four page paper that is 10% of my grade due tomorrow (for photography of all things), and that I lost the sheet with the requirements.

Been trying to play through La-Mulana. Sorta playing Darksiders, as it was on sale last weekend and I had heard good things about it. Was playing Dragon Age: Origins but the combat has just gotten so annoying I don't want to go back to it...I'm sure I will eventually, though. Like others, I think I'll be playing Spiral Knights regularly too.

Just played for an hour or two with a friend of mine - this is really good! The F2P aspects don't look that bad, since I likely won't be playing for much more than an hour or so at a time. I got to the second town place. The dungeon to get there was very nice, required some teamwork, and had puzzles to solve. Looks like the dungeons are branching, too, though I'm not sure how that works. It certainly gets a lot more complicated than the first two dungeons would make you think. This is the link that I used to sign up. Supposedly, if it stops working, you can just put a different number at the end of the link. https://www.spiralknights.com/register/register.wm?code=SK_6Edit: Oh yeah, my name is Aloshi ingame.

I had enough money for a 3DS. Then Microsoft charged me for a year of Gold which I didn't want. Now I do not have enough money for a 3DS.

I bought the first game when it was on sale on Steam a few months ago. I played about seven hours in to it, and at that point deeply regretted my character/class choice (Dwarf Rogue), as I found what seemed to be an impossible battle. I've considered going back and starting over, but that six hours wasn't really enjoyable enough to redo. Now that the second game is out, I might do it anyway.
Nice review! I don't think I've read one in that style before, but I quite like it.

I cannot play noctis IV on my W7 64x computer. The compatibility mode doesn't work and it's not a DOS program according to DOSBox, so I can't run it on there either. Try this - it's a USB boot disk specifically for Noctis IV. I haven't tried it, but it'll probably work.
