Good news! We just finished our main menu screen. Gordo's crazy space odyssee starts right here.

I really like the menu! Good job!

You really have a good humor, it would be nice to see this game launched, but I think you're making footsteps in a circle, I mean.. do the game with what you know you can finish the game, don't go adventuring and posting weird 3D things.

Just saying. By the way I laughed a lot with the screenshots in this thread, it really looks fun to play.

We'll see. I recommend you to stay with 2D with this game, and if you want to make something in 3D just try out Unity, I'm currently using it and it's "simple" to use.

Think this is too much? Obviously it's just a place holder. I was thinking of using it like in that movie, Funny Games Warning, crap quality and a spoiler of the movie.

What engine are you using for this game? Or it's a custom built?

I want to be part of the private beta! (also named Closed Beta?).

My name in your forums is Midgard.

Thankyu!

Alright the download is up, let me know if you can't see it in the forum(the board is hidden so I need to know I added you all properly).

I don't have the server up at the moment but I included it in the download in case you know how to port forward. (127.1.1.0 doesn't work for some reason, idk)

Maybe because it's 127.0.0.1?

As I said on Twitter it's looking, well, AMAZING. And I get more and more hype everytime you post a new screenshot.

Also (as I said too) I wish you the best of luck in your try to be an Indie Game Developer in your life, working in your projects all the day, it's beautiful to see someone trying to do this, and I wish you the best of luck!

Looking forward to see more!
Mid.

Today was my last day of employment - from now on my full time job will be making Chroma.

I'm also now going to be working with someone developing the audio for the game, expanding it into some pretty cool directions - I look forward to seeing what people think of what we do with it.

There's a lot of underlying stuff I've been working on recently and will need to continue working on for the next couple of months, meaning I have little in the way of interesting updates to show and ask for feedback on. I'm laying groundwork in the form of puzzles, the world shape and coding mechanics, but leaving most of the visuals for later.

Anyway pretty crazy time at the moment, exciting, scary. Also, time for some Antichamber YEAAAAH!

Antichamber hahaha it does look nice.

I'm glad to see u posting again! We'll see how this is progressing now :D

Best of luck,
Midgard.

Wow it's simply awesome and just with the first impression you see the effort that you've currently put'd on this.

Keeping an eye here!

It would be nice to have a volume control or mute because I'm a headset user and my ears died 'cause of the high volume of the music! Sad

Tested it and looks really good, it haves fluid controls and I really feel like I'm controlling this guy in another world :O

Gonna keep an eye here. Looks very very nice. Looking for how it progresses.

Light and shadow, equal and opposite, you stand on the solid and it falls down - the shadow stays there. Stand on the shadow and the shadow falls... up. Just thought it would look cool Smiley
It does, but... that seems fairly opposite to how everything else handles light.

I think it looks great how it is right now.

For my eyes the shadow is not going up, it's just disappearing invaded by the light. Looks really great.

Are you using a third party engine or your team just created a custom engine?

I was wondering about Unity... DAMN THIS LOOKS SO COOL!
