Thanks! You are supposed to run into the explosions. You aren't dying, you're just advancing to the next stage! Unfortunately, there is no score. It just goes until you get bored.

You are the blue friend. Masochism is your thing. The flashing crosshairs indicate where explosions will occur. Run towards them. When your pain meter passes its threshold, your resistance to pain will increase. You will need to run into more explosions for more pain. Have a good time!

Good news, I finally managed to add some mouse support, and I also found the source of the weapons rotation bug, so that should be fixed as well. Let me know if this improves the gameplay!

deathtotheweird, I agree with most of what you had to say. Mouse control was not omitted for any particular reason; I really need to get that running! Otherwise, the controls do tend to be a bit clumsy. The cloud explosions can get in the way sometimes.
However on the computers I tested the 9&0 keys were not ultra-sensitive. It's very possibly an oddity on my end, so I'll see if I can fix that. But thanks for you feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Caducus is a flight combat game where you're placed inside of a miniature box with unending waves of enemies. Fight until your untimely doom.

There are instructions inside the zip file so you should be all set. The game is at a 'finished' state, but I will be fine-tuning it anyway, so recommendations are still a good thing. I really appreciate any help.

Wow, nice! I like the concept of having only one button for control. I also really enjoy the greyscale art. Do any of the crates benefit you, or are they all designed to hinder your progress?

Hello to everyone! I'm pretty new to the indie gaming community but obviously it is awesome, and that's really what counts. I enjoy video games in general, but I have a special place in my heart for king's quest, quake, and G-DARIUS. I am the only part of a very small and new independent game publisher called Donativum. I just finished a game called Caducus, which will be the first title 'published' (so to speak) by Donativum. You all seem like an awesome bunch. That is all I have to say.
