i'm a bigger fan of practical sets since they have a certain reality to them, even if it's obviously fake.
I like to think of it as an art form, rather than saying "wow, this is so cheesy because it's not CGI"! Well, duh, all movies are fake, but if you're going to make your movie special effects mostly CGI I'd rather play a video game. ...Not that they'll be any different in another decade. Practical sets are a lot more beautiful in my opinion, too many movies just rely on CG effects to make it look beautiful and its kind of putting a cliché into the effects industry.

^ More people than you think still use it, I just found out about it about 6 months ago and I was surprised to see that on some peoples live streams they use it constantly.

Yeah, I like that attitude. But one thing that may be good, just to make it look a bit better is to kind of round the edges of the tiles with some tile mapping? I think it would look a lot better if their edges curved with the sides of the walls. Like this... ( Quickest pic I could find on google images )

Memory challenges should always be in one place, the player should never, ever, ever have to walk 10 minutes away... look at a friggin' tablet... walk for 10 minutes back and remember what it said to try and solve the puzzle. Its just to menial.

A sequel to Elder Scrolls is pretty much guaranteed. And Fallout, well, the setting is cooler but Borderlands did RPG gunplay a lot better. I would support a new Fallout if it was in 3rd person or overhead 3D XCOM-style, but a first person shooter is mehhh...
Guaranteed? I'm thinking that they are going to just put all the Elder Scrolls franchise into that kinda-shitty MMOG. And I am still keeping my fingers crossed for a Fallout 4, money is no object

Sounds like I will go with caster. I have tried FMOD before and I don't really like it for simple projects; but in the future when I go for a more official project FMOD will be my choice. Thanks!

So basically a multiplayer Rubix Cube? Cool concept, I think it could eventuate into a good multiplayer Bluetooth app if done well.
I don't really see how you would get around that either. Maybe you could increase the size of the playing grid so the player can be working on multiple connections if one fails then the other one will be the backup plan. Or you could make the player have to connect multiple squares on the same grid so you will mainly be trying to defend your connections rather than destroying the opposition - if that makes sense...

Yes, I have been a little absent as of late on Tig - but I am back now probably a little more solidly. Anyway, How is the game going? The art is looking pretty.
