UFC books matches with the silly pursuit of 'the best', which makes it less fun.
I agree. I always find the ultimate fight nights and the prelims are usually loads more exciting than the main events cause they just try and choose styles that make good fights instead of trying to find contenders. Sakuraba rules Wink

Well, at least they're not lying on the ground, trying to grab each other to death.

That grabbing each other to death is brazilian jujitsu and it's really amazing to watch once you understand what's going on a bit, I think it's what puts most people off watching mma they think it's just two blokes rubbing on each other.

I hope kongo smashes big mouth mirs head off this weekend.

Oh god why? Are you making a 1980s teen film? Have you tried using last.fm to find similar artists? Or just wiki'ng soundtracks to bad 80s teen films like the breakfast club?

How about these from the

and

, amazing films.

I still think what we need is an "Operation Flashpoint of zombie games". Take the "any item as weapon" system of Dead Rising, put in some heavy, challenging, stat based gameplay and some atmospheric visuals (l4d is a nice example for that). Put the player(s) in an open-ended map and let the good times roll.

That would be immense Shocked

How about an electric module that zaps if you get too near it?

I dual-boot ubuntu and xp and I rarely use windows these days, Ubuntu is so much nicer to use. I think wine and virtualbox should handle most of your needs. You could always check winedb it's got a few indie games listed there.

But anyway, I keep hearing stuff runs a lot smoother these days in the Linux world, especially with Ubuntu, so maybe it's worth giving it a shot, I dunno.
It's definitely worth giving ubuntu shot Smiley

Farbs you ever thought about changing the way pieces all disconnect from each other when you remove them? It'd be neat if they stay connected so you could just change a damaged bit then just reattach the other pieces, or is it like this to make it more challenging?  Smiley

There's no dedicated forum, no. I want to encourage players to discuss it in their regular gaming hangouts.

A battering ram would be pretty neat. I think some sort of personal highscore thing would make it even more addictive. Is there a forum just for the game and it's supporters? Smiley
