You are late for the train, you forgot your baggage.. RUN and catch as many useful items as you can. This will be a really really simple ehm, jump & run? ... run & jump? You can dodge objects and jump. nice. you have ~3 mins (one song length) to catch the train It's supposed to be a gift / surprise for my girlfriend, who is right know on a trip. Eventually there will be the two of us running to catch the train. No multiplayer, just an animation of two. It's inspired by this Actually I'm planning to develop it for the iPad and release it later for free, but the dev center of apple is down and I can't enroll right now. I hope I'll be able to port it quickly, since I'm using Unity. I started this project yesterday and I've got a lot of the mechanics running. This is a quick sketch of how the visuals may be. I hope to finish the game in the next days. There is a lot to do and I have to be a lot elsewhere, but it's possible. Don't worry Olav & the Lute is good on it's way. But since there are a couple bugs I can't fix, I'm using the time inbetween to jam. Have you already watched the

Will this be only for Windows or?
For the time being yes, and maybe browser. The game will be released for free in ~2 months. Since we work with unity, i suppose it won't be hard to make a linux / mac version, A iOS version could be done, if people actually like the game

we've got a website, and a trailer. things are going quite good right now. the game has the proportions we wanted, and we just need to put it all together and work with our musician on the sound. We're pretty proud, i'm pretty proud to have drawn such a world. It has been fun up until now. I haven't given any updates lately and I'm sorry for that. I'm intending to write a bit of a post mortem when the game is ready. Since it's my / ours first game ever, I would want to share my experience of entering gamedev and the scene.

https://vine.co/v/hWLYJO73iul a quick update!the game is underway. there are a lot of loose ends, but I am content with the progress we're making. The game will be released for free in possibly 2, maybe 3, months. depends on how much polish I'll be ready to make. Next week will come a big update. A trailer, a website. I'll assemble a presskit and write to as many sites as I can. I never done press work before, any tips? =) I'm pretty excited, but it's fun. I hope everything will turn out how we imagined it and will meet our/my expectations. Since it's our first game, my first game ever, I really hope it does. So stay tuned, it's a question of mere weeks. thanks! also, follow us on facebook!

really nice concepts! I believe the gameplay could be really interersting and fun - but simple at the same time. It reminds me slightly of manufactoria, you know it? I'll keep following! Nice art!

i like it. it's sort of a tamaguchi, and i like opening it every few days and see what flowers are there. sometimes flowers disapears, i plant new ones. would be great if you worked it out a bit more, with some options and actions, and then i can imagine it as an app for the phone, the portable garden or something. =)
but good work as it is anyway!

That is one nice book opening animation. However, you should set it to looping :-) also, I suppose it's still WIP, otherwise I'd comment on the lack of texture on the book itself (looking a bit more worn) as well as the lack of "magicness" on the symbol, which should obviously glow or do other crazy things. right you, sir, are. it is the melody journal, magicly displaying all the spells you've already learned. we thaught hard about whether we want to give the player such an help in the form of a reminder, or if we wanted to let them handle it, by like making notes on a piece of paper. (like it was in loom)
