There have been multiple reasons for the delays, but mostly because I want to do this right. There’s no such thing as a perfect game. You could work on a game forever and never be satisfied – I am aware of this – I just want to get as close as I can to achieving a polished product. You know, something I can be proud of.

As I’ve stated in the past, I don’t expect great riches from this project. I have shipped many games over the years with varying levels of contribution. But this game (with the exception of music) is entirely built by me. My intentions are of vanity. I want to be able to look back at this game with pride and to define what a Noonan.Design game is.

In other news I did the GBJAM last weekend and created Global Defense Corps - you can see a timelapse of my development below...

Thanks! That means a lot. I guess most people just move on to other games once they're done, and improve on those... I just keep updating the same one :D

This latest version isn't available yet (but soooooon)!

As for getting the word out, your guess is as good as mine. I find making gifs helps get your game at least seen by people, you can share them on facebook, twitter and reddit (though I've had very little luck on reddit).

I too have found code giveaways to be pretty rough. I have found that if people are interested in the game, they'd buy it, people who scour the web for giveaways aren't really that interested in the games they grab...
